You are quickly becoming my favourite TH-cam, Hunter. I think it was Fuzzy Dice or Ronald Finger who shouted you out on their channel. Can't remember which, but I'm glad they did because your channel is a hidden masterpiece
When ever i feel worried or nervous about working on my car hunter uploads legit the same day. Explains how he feels the exact same way but to trust the process and explains his mentality. And everytime it puts a smile on my face and i feel ready to try something new or to complete that project ive been waiting weeks on to do. Thank you for everything hunter you keep me motivated and keep my anxiety about messing up or breaking something and reform it as something to learn and get better on :)
You’re the TH-cam’s Spielberg! It’s so easy to watch, love it ! Little tips for next bodywork, do not use your foam interface to sand your bondo, even when you’re sand your panel at the beginning. We only use it after primer 😉
holy, I'm literally doing the exact same thing as you. about to wrap my Pandem e30. I've been looking for good videos, and then you posted this. thank you!
Loved the video as always bud. Music, angles, editing. Top shelf. Think about picking up a body hammer and dolly kit at the hobo freight. Makes life way easier. Keep rocking dude you’ll get there. 🤘
I really like the stock color. That’s why I haven’t wrapped my Audi. The stock color looks so great and that’s one of the main reasons I bought my car. I really like the green that you wrapped your Audi with but it’s just not the same. Picking colors is very difficult. A pearl silver would be a cool option, very classy in my opinion.
I completely agree. Long term I really love the green that this car is and I'm going to get it painted in that color. But I think a wrap is the perfect solution for the time being since paint jobs are not cheap at all though 😅
I'm looking forward for more BMWs in the future! Great work for the e30, I know that picking colours is very personal, but I gotta love an e30 with techno violet... Can't wait on what colour you setteled on. Go with what guts are telling you.
Challenge (Impossible) Find a bad video hunter has uploaded. lol, Great work, i look forward to every Saturday. (:

I've been going back and forth about whether to sell my E30 or not. I'm definitely leaning more towards keeping it. Watching this video reinforces that position as well. Thanks!
In my honest opinion Main reason I hate wraps is when you open the door you can see the wild color clashing with the wrap. Either pick a color that compliments the original color. Or pick a color that closely matches it. But it's your choice at the end of the day cuz it's your car. (Still I kinda want to look it's best)
A few thoughts from my very not an expert position. Fear may be the mindkiller, but rust is the car killer. I think it's not a bad idea to go over at least the worst of your spots - the pitted areas - with a rust converter afterwards (if that's not already in your plan!). For your Bondo work, get those silicone or plastic glazing knives instead of a regular metal putty knife. They really do get into the spaces and conform to the lines much better, reducing your sanding work and hopefully giving you a much better finish. Finally, you may want to use some filler primer once you're all said and done with the rust and dent treatment. It will help to avoid any pinholes that you can't see (even after glaze), and while I'm sure that's less of a concern with the wrap, it may yet be of use, and if you choose to strip and paint it later, you're already there. As always, fantastic episode, thank you for sharing with us!
@HunterDirection sorry meant I like that shade/colour. I think a wrap in that colour might actually work. It reminds me a bit of isle of man green on the newer cars.
@@toofast4u_88 I really do love the green haha. Someday I'll definitely repaint it in this color. But the paint that's on the car now is pretty far gone. 😅
Mmm , basically any color. Just beaware off gold and yellow. That 2 colors, doesn't look good 😢 My friend father had yellow e30 chrome bumper and my nephew gold e30 chrome bumper. If we had meet ups , those 2 colors just dont work well on the e30. . .
Nothing better than a HunterDirection video on a Saturday morning
Haha here by me 5P.M 😂
Just wait until it's a movie instead of a video 😉 The support means the world to me!

Saturday evening for me

I absolutely love watching your videos. They always inspire me to go work on my own projects, but I just can't stop watching! Keep up the good work.
I'm stoked to hear they are motivating! That means the world to me!
Came for the garage reno. Stayed for the absolute top notch quality videos.

Better than Saturday morning cartoons when I was a kid. Some of the best content on TH-cam. Keep it up man.
incredible story telling and filming, truly a masterpiece of a video

Fantastic tip. That makes total sense now that I think about it haha. And I really appreciate the support! Thank you a ton!
Fellow e30 here , these videos are great ! Please keep it up. Makes me want to work on my car
always here for the e30 content and home videos.
Use a block and coarser paper to mow down the bondo. Use high build primer to fill the sanding scratches and blend it with fine grit
I literally wake up to these videos like a kid on Saturday morning 😅 great job my boy 👍🏾
Those glorious locks, the quaint and beautiful cars, the magical film style, the music, the locks.
You never miss good sir.
Well done again👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Haha that means a lot to me. I really appreciate the support!
Best day of the week

Superb work sir. I’m learning so much with your work. Set to be paramount around these parts. Guidance in all u do.

@@HunterDirection I’m probably going to learn how to paint to save some money with that one. There’s a blow up paint booth that I’m looking at.
@@DustySteel absolutely a goal of mine too. I think I want to learn on the GTI shell since it was so cheap
Thanks. Another great video. Loved the soundtrack on this one.
My popcorn is ready!
so glad I stumbled on your channel. looks like so much effort went into this video. can't wait for more!
It will look amazing once you are done
The Metallic Rust would look fire.
I love the idea of a copper/orange

Completely agree. I want to make sure the color fits the jams and bay. It would be awesome if we could find a color similar to the car itself!
Nice job your car is in very good shape I wish I could show you the state my e30 was in when I decided to save it 😅
how do u know it;s a good day? when HD uploads

That original green paint work looks pretty good though.
It's sadly starting to delaminate and peel. The clear on about every panel and the base on the back half. I'd love to respray it in the same color!

Your patience is unrivaled, I would’ve IMMEDIATELY went to marketplace to get a different trunk lol😂
Haha totally fair😆 I didn't know how easy one would be to find lol
Burgundy would go nuts
Completely agree haha.
Love hte content man! Check out some plastic razorblades for removing trim, double-sided tape, etc.
I need to pick some up for sure!
keep the green!!!!!!!!!

hell yeah
Inka Orange!
Orange is up there as an option at the moment 🤔
@@HunterDirection the 2002 oranges would all look awesome on an E30 IMHO
mask mask mask mask ! when grinding always wear eye protection and a mask! esp around rust
You should do the car in Hunter green
Lol love that color😅 we will see what the PPF samples look like haha
its saturday!!
try glossy maroon
👍🏼👍🏼
Where’s the built 1.8t motor for the TT?????
Lol I need to find another block to buy first haha.
