Fully agree with Shweta! I am a housewife, a double post graduate, donned so many hats but the world around me still thinks of me as ‘just a housewife!’I get u girl!!😊
Unfortunately till the time any individual doesn't create monetary and social trajectory with what they have studied the results are 0. Let's accept the reality and not play victim about that.
@@technicaltreasures7297 But that's the thing. A housewife does create monetary value by saving on babysitters/childcare, chef, sometimes cleaner, driver, personal assistant, accountant. If you were to pay for these services, it would be a lot. A penny saved is a penny earned.
I loved the moment when JB at the end declared for Shweta "She is my strength", that was such a sweet moment. Family members don't praise often and they should, when they do it, it comes straight from the heart and is just so heartwarming!
Jayaji comes from a middle class background therefore she is more clued in how things work for women in a middle class set up. Fab work by all 3 here. Lovely chat show.
Oh definitely !! She took many digs at her own daughter through the podcasts and Shweta also naa undermine her mother alot🤦🏽♀️ . But then I guess this is the normal mother daughter relationship...
I feel like Jaya and Sweta have a very complicated relationship. Whilst she says women should be financial independent ,Sweta was married off quite young and not sure what was her career or what does she does
So refreshing to see Navya having a balanced unbiased approach and always eager to listen and learn as evident in her conversations, despite living under the influence of her grandmother and mom who have such fixed opinions about the world. There is nothing wrong in being apologetic or saying sorry than being too full of yourself and thinking you are always right or you don't need to ever change. JB's attitude always reeks of arrogance and ego as if she has seen and done it all and having a high moral ground gives her the license to be unapologetic about everything she does. With old age, we grow wiser and mellow, take the graceful Sharmila Tagore or Zeenat Aman for examble, such a delight to listen to them. Kudos to Navya for doing the balancing act perfectly.
The question is about self esteem and not getting certified by others about the significance of the role of homemakers and mothers.i am a proud homemaker and couldnt care any less about other peoples appreciation.i know what i am,and am proud of myself.
Loving it Naviya, you are making it so interesting and fluid. I really like Shweta's point of view and her valuable inputs as she is the bridge between the two generations and seen the quick change vividly herself... And Jayaji as always stands tall with her personality and uprightness..... You have truly matured from season one to season two. Good luck💖
I work as Director of a company and I agree with Jaya ji - that even if you earn more than yr husband - still you might have that much say in decisions. I fight everyday for those rights at my home. If I have to buy a small thng - I have to discuss with my husband whereas he can go and tke big decisions without consulting me
Very very true , own money cant even buy what she wanted , n yes friedge color n schoor color cant even select in their own choice , This is really bad for women in india , HAS TO CHANGE IT
Wow. Learning, listening to different opinions, improving my English speaking skills and vocabulary all at the same time. Love it. And the ending song was lit.
Truly superb .. Navya is truly superb..so balanced, modest yet assertive. After all, the terrific genes from both sides -Nandas & Bacchans silently doing their job. She should get Aishwarya and Aaradhya along with the classy Abhishek . Would be very very interesting. Bestest wishes..❤
I am confused when Jaya bachan said that every woman who be financially independent so why she didn’t make her daughter the same ? Why she got her married without she being financially independent?
Hey Navya - I was your Mom's (much) senior in school in Mumbai! Nice to see you speak so well - you remind me of my own daughter. Like your Nani said - I agree you need to get some 'real people' in your interviews who can share the ground realities of work - life. With due respect I felt a lot of times you three were second guessing yourselves as you are honestly in a different segment of society. Continue to do the good work. You carried the podcast very well! Much love and blessings.
I love the way Navya Nanda carries herself. A Simple educated and intellectual individual. She is really beautiful and also delivers her thoughts beautifully.
It’s a funny episode on two fronts - everything that Jaya Bachchan says “Shweta Bachchan is thinking - really😅! I wasn’t allowed to speak, express, be financially independent” and two “Jaya Bachchan has for some reason so much hate to the world around her despite getting so much love and admiration from people”. She was the Character she played in Rocky Rani😀
Enjoyed this. Love your initiative and your thoughts Navya. Love Shweta's practicality and how grounded and level headed she is being The Amitabh Bachchan's daughter. Your Nani however is a different mood. So arrogant and full of herself. The B in the JB should clearly mean something else!
It went by soo fast! It was nice to see this episode. I have really been enjoying this series! The Bachan family I have been following since I was a young girl. It started with Aishwarya Rai, then it was India, Bollywood, Bachan family (Amitabh Bhachan who really is epitomy of a fighter and humility)...it was also India as a country, its music, culture, etc. that fascinate me. Then travels to India came.... I hope Aishwarya joins at some point, if possible, but also, it is wonderful to watch these three women, I really enjoy their discussions. And couple of moments were so truly touching, the emotion there is really genuine. I also love that it is an Indian podcast, I always learn and get exposed to one more small thing, or another layer...
No , Ashwarya is overacting , you three are best together.,,,,don’t mess up your Potcast , Navya you are soooooo cute , adorable and most beautifulll.🌸🌸🌸🌸❤️❤️❤️❤️💪💪💪💪💪💪✊✊✊
Jaya ji’s idea of inviting women from different walks of life is brilliant! I really appreciate that these three articulate women don’t hold back. In today’s climate, being politically correct is just common sense. But their willingness to be real and vulnerable is what keeps me coming back to these conversations. It’s like listening to your sister, mom and niece! Way to go Navya!! The balanced upbringing shines through Jaya ji and Shweta!!
Being a housewife is a default expectation from every wife.. irrespective if she’s working outside the home or not! Even as an executive at a major organization- I am still expected to take care of all the household chores - especially cooking for a multi generational household of 8 people .. cannot tell u how much mind space it takes to organize both home and manage a global team in 3 continents! It’s exhausting!!
Hi Navya! I am Bijal from Portugal. I consider myself very privileged as well. My parents always supported me. My dad specially. I had to struggle a lot financially after marriage and thanks to my dad i could always move forward. Thank you dad. Best dad ever.
Very interesting to watch you all ..Navya comes out to be promising media personality ..she is sensitive, vocal and genuine ...lots of live to all of you ..keep doing your good work
Very enterprising things. Beautifully presented. Wishing you all the very best. This can be a wonderful learning for all women and men to hear 3 generations of women of substance! Navya, you seem to me a very intelligent and enterprising young person. Sending lots of love and best wishes.
Jayaji is so proud of navya and I must say she's such a delight to listen love her what I truly like about navya is that she's not running around and justifying her privilege but she knows her responsibility towards society you go girl.
I admire the 3 roses. But, Shweta - Big salute to you for rising a kid in this era with a solid backgroud of understanding the world in its real sense. Navya - you are blessed!
Being a businesswoman I see that female representation in business and networking platforms is around 20%. Even in the elitest business platforms women are asked questions about their families and what their husbands do whereas men are asked about their revenues etc. It’s frustrating!
Hey Navya its nice to hear 3 generations speaking from their experiences. However, it would be nice if you can get 3 women from either different generations or different socio-economic backgrounds to speak with you. It won't sound like an echo chamber. This talk show has a lot of potential as you seem to be a very empathetic person. Getting women or men from different walks of life can make it a lot more relatable and productive. Best wishes for this season.

Very good Navya. And Nani knows when url making fun of her. She.has a very sharp sense. "That much English I know" she's very cute and you're a natural host👏👏👏
I'm so lucky... Never saw my mother doing thankless job and neither do my children... I'm at the centre of my family universe and I'm so thankful to God for giving me safety and love and warmth in my home, homes
Pls bring Aishwarya… she has never opened up about her highs, success , struggles marriage adjustments when you are more successful than your husband ..She is an inspiration

It is their prerogative. Their target audience is global, as well as urban elites. Not everything has to be for middle class or lower class. Podcasts, TH-cam are for upper class and urban youth and diaspora and global audience.
Binge watching the season 2 and love the informal chat on important topics. My 2 cents on women being recognized at work and home. I feel men make most decisions even in homes. Most architects who design homes are men and have no idea and they plan kitchens for women to work out of.
Nice to see Jaya B. speak her mind always. GREAT start to S-2 Navya. It was nice to hear when your Naani openely declared that her daughter is her strength, more than her son. Good on her ! 👍
I felt Shweta has some pain deep within herself that surfaces whenever there is a discussion about career.... It seems she wasn't allowed to work though she is the smartest in the family. Lots of love to her❤
Navya is a natural and hope she stays that way. She doesnt need that whitening makeup. I liked Jaya ji in this episode because she was relaxed, smiling and appreciative of Navya and Shweta. Shweta did feel like the outsider with her British educated accent and her general attitude.

Awww so nice to see how proud jaya madam felt when nevya was speaking.
Shona very very good
Yes
Jaya ji is very happy around her grand daughter. I think secretly She likes Navya more than her own children 😂
You may not have grandkids but everyone loves the grandkids more…
Everyone loves grandkids more. My mom always loved me, now that she is a grand mom, it's always them before us. Its4 next level.
It's normal mother loves Grand kids more than kids
Oh definitely !! She took many digs at her own daughter through the podcasts and Shweta also naa undermine her mother alot🤦🏽♀️ .

It was an unparalleled show way more advanced than the time that happened never before, more over way better than present day comic series even.❤❤❤
Loved the episode 💕 three very smart, intelligent and strong ladies in one frame… more power to you 💕
Welcome back Navya.....it was great fun n encouraging points in the first season .
Now we are more elated
Navya you're the smartest star kid doing incredibly well for yourself and the society, kudos to you.
Nice to see Jaya B. speak her mind always. GREAT start to S-2 Navya. It was nice to hear when your Naani openely declared that her daughter is her strength, more than her son. Good on her ! 👍
I'm super happy S2 yayyyyyy 🎉❤

Navya ❤❤❤
As much as I am watching this podcast my thoughts about Jaya Bacchan are getting changed :) kinda liking her slowly 😛
I felt Shweta has some pain deep within herself that surfaces whenever there is a discussion about career.... It seems she wasn't allowed to work though she is the smartest in the family.

Agree!
Enjoyed it! You guys are fun and honest.

this podcast is all about jaya ji and shweta roasting navya and parsing her
ps: this is very eposide 😂😂
Very interesting for the first time , I enjoyed it . But what the hell Navya ?? Where is Aishwarya .. ?
I really enjoyed Jayaji....she is rooted and clear and straight. You can still make it interesting.
Now we know why amit Ji picked her and not rekha
I enjoyed hearing JayaJi, she carries so much wisdom and deep affection of her self journey, I hope to her stories and thinking as I find her deeply engaging, This was beautiful to watch !
This is a good podcast. It would be interesting to see Aishwarya as a guest on this show with all of you.
Jaya ji is the most honest and women of substance
