We loved VG Patisserie! In fact we got an Airbnb nearby just a block from Voltaire Blvd. We did dine at Potager du Marais. The creamy Potage was better than the French onion soup. Not too crazy about the Setain Bourgonion. But the Buckwheat Crepe was pretty good. We had the apricot creme brulee which was very tasty.
Thanks for this very informative and entertaining video. I'm going to Paris for 4 days in 3 weeks time. As a vegan, I will eat EVERYTHING you shared here, and in that order. Thanks once again.
You got lucky at VG - they often don't have the almond croissants because they only make them from leftover croissants. They are so amazing. Glad you got to try them.
@@ratedvfood I was in Paris for several months last year visiting my boyfriend and I went to VG a lot! I think they only had the almond croissant the first time I went and maybe one other time. When they didn't have it I got the Pain aux raisins, regular croissant, or chocolate croissant. All delicious but nothing compares to their almond croissants! I also went to the Le Faitout and had the cheese platter a few times and some of their other dishes. I love that place (and the cat they have/had running around). Such a classic! Great video. :) If you go back, hit up Grounded cafe. Amazing cinnamon rolls, scones, coffee and super nice ppl.
@@VeggieVisa ooo that's awesome!! Yeah when I went to VG I want to try so many more things but only had one stomach hahah that's great tha😍t you were able to try all of those options and that you also got to try le Faitout! I loved that place and their wine chaud was one of my favorites! Great tip on Grounded Cafe..will definitely keep that in mind if I go another time. Are you based in Europe or the States??
Really looking forward to going to le faitout. Me and my wife have watched lots of videos of vegan restaurants but never seen this one thank you. Would you need to book in advance?
Yess ! Omg you will love it that was my favorite place after the vegan pastries of course haha .. That butter omg .. you don’t need to book . At least I didn’t I was there during Christmas too and it was fine I just walked in. It is a popular spot tho so maybe calling just in case would be a good idea. Thanks so much for your support and happy to hear my videos are helpful! So grateful for this comment 🙏🏽
Aw, la rue des Rosiers, it's epic. So glad you never had any foie gras. My favorite place is Aujourd'hui et Demain in the 11th arrondissement. Le potager de Charlotte is a good one too. Not too far from Le Sacré Coeur. I will definitely try the VG patisserie.

Sadly Le Faitout has closed since the filming of this video!
Soooo disappointed to know that. It was high on our “must do “ list. Where else offers vegan cheese board??
I also recommend Land and Monkeys, an amazing bakery with heavenly sweets. I came back from Paris last week and still miss it every day 😂😔
Thanks for sharing!!
