I am not a truck guy, but I think that regardless of if it is sold on the primary market or secondary market, the pool of people willing to pay out for that truck is small. It seems like it has the best parts available, but will that attract enough people?
And where is it going to sell on the secondary market? Dealers are going to make low ball offers that no reasonable individual would entertain. Would BaT or CaB be willing to put a respectable reserve on them? All Barrett Jackson auctions are no-reserve, so you would have to have the right crowd to get even 50% of retail.
I say if you buy it, use it to its fullest extent.
I’m sure there will be a small group of people looking to pick something like this up but you’re right.
