Hey HK Boba I started playing league like 3 days ago and for some reason I got promoted to gold III division IV and I kid you not I was bronze.. I got promoted to gold III division four from Bronze one.. is this a glitch???

this really helped me, haven't played rl for 4 months cuz my ps4 broke and 2 days ago i bought rl on steam my highest rank is diamond 1 div 2 in duos and plat 3 div 3 in solo
WTF I hit plat one day and was playing extremely good so I thought why not take a break and stopped for a single day came back and got down to gold 2...

Another tip I would give is don’t play competitive when you’re not on a winning streak. Every time you boot up the game play a match or two of casuals to test your luck and if you lose then don’t play competitive until you win two games in a row then start playing competitive and if you lose a match in competitive immediately stop playing competitive and go back to casuals. Don’t be stubborn and keep playing competitive after your winning streak is over or you’ll lose soo much progress.
i started playing in 2018, except i only played it for 2 hours back then. i got back into it yesterday and im already gold even though i already have 3/10 of my placements done from 2 years ago. and also good video, have a good rest of your day.

Nice one! About the ground dribble (keeping the ball on top), I just can't do that. Actually, I am doing time to time, but not consistently, and just for couple of seconds. Not that I haven't practiced, in total I have 600+ hours and I am plat 1. However, this is something that I really want to do it consistently, but the ball either goes in front of the car, and no matter how fast I boost I can't catch, or it fells off behind, or on the sides. I tried to keep up the ball when it goes on the sides, but my car just does not turn that much, even though I use power slide. Heeeelp please :).
Great video HK! Can you put us some milestones so we know when we are ready? I feel like I am the best gold 1 (I have scored ceiling shots and powerslide flicks in games and know how to air dribble) But I dont know if I qualify for plat. So can you set some plat milestones for us so we can know when to stop training?
Thanks for the kind words! If you've scored ceiling shots and crazy stuff in games. You probably have good enough mechanics. I would say look at your replays and see if there are easy places for improvement where you can make shots easier for yourself simple and efficient goes a long way :)
I definitely need more practice, but it also helps when your rando teammates aren’t ball hogs/afk most of the time. I played some ones earlier and I had a great time! Thanks for the good tips. ^-^

I am plat 3 and diamond 1 on all other modes but then I solo qued 3's. I lagged out 2 of the silver games so it put me gold 1. Cannot get out of this mess. I mean it's solo que and idc about this rank but for some reason I suck at this rank I'm always out of place even if I'm faster and what not my positioning is terrible for this rank. Does anyone else have this issue. I feel I can never rotate and teammates always go for the most random stuff it's so hard to predict.
I'm about to make a new video. "solo queue 100 games of 3v3s. Wat did I learn". Kind of thing. I'll talk a bit about positioning and rotations with being mindful of teammates. Maybe I won't do it on my main though. Since mostly you'll find troublesome to teammates in the lower ranks. But I also don't want to get flammed smurfing lol. Even for educational purposes. So idk. Hopefully it'll still be helpful if I do it in the C1 range

The golds now are as good as diamond or even better. Like for real. I played 1v1 competitive against a guy who had professor of physics name tag and played 3v3 competitive against someone with supersonic acrobat nametag. And I play against people who play from 2016 and I'm 5 months on the game.
This doesn’t work when my opponents play like diamonds in gold 3 div 4 😂 He hit both an air dribble, a ceiling shot, and a breezi flick and he didn’t look like he was trying. Great tips though I really improved from them

Sometimes, you just need to take a break. Make sure you save replays when you are playing well, so when you are playing bad you can look back how you were playing.

So my friend dared me to get to platinum. With the scarab and the highest rank I ever was was gold 1(duel) so I’ve been playing duels with the scarab instead of the octane and now I am gold 3 division 2
I was unranked then after 7 games I was gold then 2 games later I was platinum then after 1 game I went back to gold. I’m still new to the whole level thing
what ur rank? ps. i aint got a rank at all but my plays are extremely good like a grand champion so if you get time can we just 1v1 pls.......................

Tip on wall aerials - Try to air roll your car straight. it makes it easier to have accuraccy and power

Why oh why do people not like 1s yes if you make a mistake then the other team gets a goal but it forces you to improve so much faster.
