all the best with the surgery, I fractured my collarbone beginning of September, no surgery, just in a sling for 2 weeks and went back 3 weeks ago for a check up and all healed OK

All the best with the apps, good move having the CB plate removed too, you'll feel the difference and less likely to cause more damage in a bad crash if it's left in.

Hey guys, just to let you know that apparently these trails we rode are now closed for winter maintenance!
I've heard the gx T-type axs can suffer from the same issue, as the way the battery is positioned (horizontally) means water can pool around the connectors. I read that dielectric grease helps to minimise this happening. Maybe some on the ebike connection might be worth a shout.

Had the same thing on my canyon strive on with the same motor and battery so seems to be susceptible to this as I don’t hang my bike up at all, had a new connector fitted under warranty and so far it’s been fine.
Funnily enough I am 6 months post surgery on my cb plate being put in and was thinking I may see if I can get it taken out next year. How did you go about getting it sorted out ?
Just tell them it’s rubbing you and a hit uncomfortable and they’ll remove it
