Juggernaut is my favorite character!!!I tried out MOST of this team in a six person 600 point Battle Royale last night. I based it on you core build and dropped Dark Phoenix for Elixer. I fleshed out the rest of the points with SR Prime Apocalypse with the Enchanted Ball and Chain and wreaked the two maps we were on!!!
I use mother all the time. I keep her in the back and x-men team ability to perplex twice then when I'm ready mover her out to maybe get the ko effect.
Just one more juggernaut to add to my collection...and learn to play the game two my first juggernauts gonna be marvel legends series 6 I just hope at my card shop people play this wen I wuss in high school a group of kids played it
@@HeroclixHeadquarters well i was happy to get borg juggernaut from that set..the one in the dark phodnix set was better.i oppenned the rest of HOX boosters and I got Something good I can use.. but no "juggs"
This would be a fun team. I can't put my finger on it, but I think this has some issues. Once juggs is it there I think he is vulnerable to get swarmed.
That is a potential issue, but if he can hit and probably KO the right characters on that first attack it should be pretty much over. Even if the do hit him after that they likely won't have the firepower to KO him and then they have to deal with him and Dark Phoenix. It's all about not missing with a 14 attack and picking the right targets lol.
I was lucky to pull Jug. Since my local group is not too keen on meta and all, its nice to see what is and the takes of more competitve players. I found in playing another game that list construction is good part of it and its neat to see what others do. Why would the power gem be rotated out? Is it time already? I hope not. I really enjoy my gems.
Also I just felt like I should add that if you guys don't really play a lot of meta stuff then you probably play some golden age so it shouldn't make much difference if stuff rotates or not. Our games are golden age like 90% of the time lol.
Haha, no more perplexing dx, no worries, perplex the Jugg att +1/2, then I'm plexing Pheonix def to 19/20 until she KOs off last click. Make your opponent think reeaally hard about a long distance first strike on Pheonix, and leaving them with another nasty pill to swallow if they decide to attack Jugg for minimal dx while triggering retal...and hopefully they have to make this decision after he already rolled up and pancaked 1 or 2 fools, hahahhahaha.
With respect I would have to put this build in a more fun or intriguing build but not competitive in the current meta. Reason being after seeing in sealed what the Sky Tyrant can do let alone when you build a team around him goodness. Being able to full move charge, exploit, blades flurry is disgusting; but what makes this piece over the top is giving him access to a trait that can outwit even protected outwit abilities- which in my humble opinion is not just strong but broken beyond belief. Given that traditional defense values don't matter even if its 18, 19, 20 or even 21 the defensive abilities used to matter; now with access to the necrosword which essentially nullifies both super senses and shape change how are characters or teams able to defend against a Sky Tyrant equipped with the Necrosword?? Being able to go damage threw imprervious, invulnerability, toughness, shape change and super senses is OP- it reduces the game down to who goes first, who gets map selection; most meta teams will ether decimate or get decimated. I'm on the fence with Sky Tyrant, if wiz kids bans necro sword then I'm okay with him being playable in the modern format-- but if the sword stays in breaks Sky Tyrant beyond belief (like this is the kind of level abusiveness like Oko in Mtg a few sets ago- like it will ruin the game for me and others).
WizKids hates banning stuff so I don't think that will happen, errata maybe. Sky tyrant is certainly a beast though, time will tell just how bad he really is lol.
@@HeroclixHeadquarters Of course! They're not much different to MTG WOTC who waited till a month was left in standard to Ban the dreaded Teferi-- everyone knew the card was op and busted but wizards wanted the sales. I see this same behavior being repeated with wiz kids sadly...

Awesome! Glad it worked out, thanks for letting me know! :D
Got lucky and pulled this juggy in a random pack when me and my friend were buying some. He's so dope.
Juggernaut is one of my favorites since I know X-Men.
Colossus and Nightcrawler team building, please

Yeah she's great!
This guy is a beast. He would wipe my team out no problem. Wow.

I dont have the new juggernaut but I have the rare one from UXM..
I used to really like both of the ones from that set, it was cool that you could take his helmet off.

@@HeroclixHeadquarters and with the coming rules, he can prob himself once in the themed team
True, good protection against a crit miss!

Well it might not, I personally don't think it will but I've heard some people say it might. I don't think anyone knows for sure except wizkids lol

Wait. Characters that are being tkd can make an action after?
Yep! That's why it's such a helpful power
@@HeroclixHeadquarters its crazy wicked good to have.

Cool team. I don't play meta. I'm trying to make a HOX pirate team lol maybe bring in spider viking and black beard from fffff
