My daughter's choir sang during Candlelight Processional at Christmas, so we were there that entire week. We got back 2 days before Christmas with NO downtime. The Dec 26 crash was huge!
I went alone last month because no one was as committed or willing to save their money! It was worth it! My BFF was even in another part of Florida while I was there, so we got to go to magic kingdom for a day together!
I agree with paying for an upgraded room view but ONLY if you are staying in a hotel with internal hallways. We have paid extra for excellent views at Animal Kingdom Lodge and regretted not upgrading at Beach Club. However, we found that when we paid extra for a water view at Coronado, we kept the blinds closed most of the trip for privacy... People walking by could see into our room, and there were people walking by constantly. With external hallways, paying for a view upgrade is NOT worth it.
Lockers!!! JUST discovered how wonderful they are! We packed a cooler of drinks and got a locker for $15 (small one) for the day and saved alot of money on drinks! Plus had storage for purchases and the jackets for evening when it got colder. First week of December it was fall in the morning, summer in the afternoon then winter at night! Three seasons in one day!
Do you find that's a good time to go? That's when we usually go to DLR and wanted to try WDW during the same week (or the second week) this year. Seems like a lot of rooms are already booked up, is it busy?
@@J.Halllll it’s super busy in December! Christmastime at WDW IS AMAZING! the crowds are now increasing as people begin venturing out. December 2021 will be the 50th anniversary so expect crowds to increase dramatically. I’ll bet even 75%! Doesn’t surprise me things are booked already.
@@juniebugrocks Even the first 2 weeks of December? Aren't they historically much slower than the rest of the month, or even the 3 weeks before? Even at DLR it's not as packed and DLR is at least 300% busier than WDW because everything is so much smaller.

I'm going to stay at the Polynesian Resort for my honeymoon late next October so that we're close to Magic Kingdom. I love taking the boats to the park. I hope we get to eat at Cinderella's Royal Table. My fiance wanted to propose there, but he ended up proposing in front of the castle after breakfast at Be Our Guest Restaurant.
Stayed off property the first visit. After that I prefer staying on property. I do agree, save on rooms and splurge at the parks. We only sleep in our rooms anyway....
I would love to witness AJ record for a video. I assuming she scrips out the segments, and she brings so much energy and it feels so organic. I’m from CA and don’t have plans to take a WDW trip soon, BUT! These vids have made me want to go and feel prepared for that planning
I definitely regret booking an early flight home when I really wanted to sleep in and even hit up another park that day. Definitely get a later flight if you can! That way you can sleep in and have time to get breakfast and enjoy those Mickey waffles before you leave!
One thing of note? If you're in the park and you need to get OTC meds on the fly, you WILL get charged for them. I rode Flight of Passage, but the ride seat things did not go well with my sciatica and I was in a lot of pain after. I went to the gift shop and asked for some Advil, and they gave me a couple of tablets...for $2.00.
I always stay 10 days in Disney, then it is more relaxed. I regretted going back to work one day after returning home. Definitely needed 2 days to unpack! 😉
This video is so great (although I think its been super therapeutic for AJ as she has let quite a lot out there!). You’re so right - it doesn’t matter how many times you may have been to Disney there are things that you do every time that are crazy so spending a few minutes to checkout this video is a great reminder of how to make the most of your stay. The doing rides so fast is so right - the number of times you see people rushing through the queue or on their phones in line! I found that walk ons don’t seem the same as when you queue as you don’t get to take in all the pre-ride stuff that the imagineers have put in place to tell the story and set the scene before the ride. If you can just take a few moments to savour the sights and smells of the pre-ride queue or show, the ride itself is so much more enjoyable!
Not staying at a value or offsite resort for 'arrival day'....after driving 8 hours...or a long flight that arrives at 5...it just isn't worth paying Poly Prices for a room ... Do a value resort if your doing Magical express or take discount room in Ocala on the way down if driving.
We have family meeting planning sessions with excel sheets and DFB selected videos loaded on our TV prior to our trips. We were at Beauty and the Beast Live Stage Show and the mom sitting in front of us had a notebook in her mom bag with laminated itinerary pages. Wow that is next level!!! She gave me tips on fast passes. I love Disney people that share Disney knowledge. And that is why I love you guys.
I’ve been sick twice at Disney over the years. Disney has been great about extending the unused tickets and refunding a room when I had to leave early one time
I've had problems a number of times as well. One trip involved getting my hemodialysis treatments in Celebration and another trip had me passing out in the lobby before check in. No matter what is going on with you, a herd of cast members is there to help.
Was actually thinking about sponsoring when I started the video, always thought it would be a start move in Disney's end, an independent reviewer who is actually passionate about Disney and tried to show the positive with the negative, and most importantly how to get around the negative is a dream come true 😂😂 it bothers me you pay for your rooms. I get the food cost but they should want to get you in more often 🤷♀️ I get all of my Disney news from your channel alone now 😂👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Being Florida residents we sometimes go and eat only snacks for the week. It works out cheaper and we frequently stay at value hotels only because of cost.
AJ, regarding your comments regarding short trips to Disney, I once took a last-minute 3-night trip and had the best time ever! I guess it all comes down to how much planning is done for even a short visit.
The point about being flexible around scheduling is important. The schedule serves YOU to make sure you have fun. If your schedule is making you frustrated or anxious, then it’s lost it’s purpose. Besides, what’s the point of the vacation if you’re not having fun
Having food in the room is SOOO important. Last year I came back to the hotel when it started storming and pouring rain, having not eaten, thinking, "No big deal, I'll order room service." It was about 9pm by this point. BUT I was staying at All Star Sports and when I rang In-Room Dining, they said, "We don't bring food to the rooms during a thunderstorm for our Cast Members' safety." I couldn't leave my room to go to the food court as there was no way to get there without getting soaked (all the pathways are outdoors at All Stars - same reason they couldn't come to me), so I ended up going to bed hungry. TL;DR - keep some kind of food in your room, like a grab and go salad or something, just in case!
The only regret that I have was when my family and I went back 1998 into 1999 and not knowing that if your flight is cancelled by the weather that Disney will do everything they can to ensure that your have a place to stay. We ended up staying in the airport for two days because we didn't know this back then. If I knew back then what I know now we would've been gold. Thanks DFB for all the Disney info.
I went that same month too- locals said it was worse than usual- still had an amazing time. And the crowds were not bad at all! We’ll do it again and plan for the heat and humidity with cooling towels and fans.
@@sharonmcgovern2245 Even with cooling towels we were still frying! Nothing can prepare you for Florida summer until you step off that plane at Orlando International
I know it sounds weird, but one of my regrets was planning trips too close together. We went to Disney in November 2018 and July 2019, which eight months apart. For us, it was too close and we didn’t get to see anything new (ie star wars stuff). So for us, once per year is our limit.
Coming from Michigan i would definitely recommend going between middle of October thru first week of December. Its so nice to take a break from the cold and warm up. Its also nice to see everything decorated for the holidays. I would also recommend take a day off before and after your vacation if you can make it work. It helps to avoid last minute rushing or being tired the next day of travel or work.
I've only been to WDW three times in my life. Once at nine years old, once in my twenties. and four years ago with my family. And the moments I remember most were the ones during our "free" days in between all the running around and reservations. I literally can only remember seconds of each ride and show because I was so stressed out about being on time for the next reservation that I literally let the majority of the trip pass me by......So thank you AJ,,,,,You are so right. We're going again in 2022 and I'm going to stay for 15 days with 6 free days to actually enjoy that magical place. We absolutely LOVE your videos every week and really want you to know you're so appreciated. You're hard work is important to us over here in the cold windy city.
I don't find much value in having a better room view, since I spend so little time in the room, but a good location can be worth it, especially after a long day. Last time I went, I stated in Pop Century and had a room right by the Skyliner and Reception. It was a short trip to whatever I needed. Also, I would always recommend bring snacks and breakfast bars. It saves a lot of time and money when you can have breakfast in your room before you head out, and having a snack with you keeps you from splurging on food you didn't plan to buy.
I just want to say a huge thank you to AJ and the entire DFB team since my family and I recently came back from our first trip to Disney World and all the advice here on TH-cam and in your newsletters plus your holiday food book really helped make Disney much less overwhelming and we were able to enjoy ourselves and just look forward to any possible future trips.
I regret NOT spending money to go to ALL the restaurants I wanted to even though I saved the money to do it. It was hard after the first few meals to justify it. But honestly looking back at it now. I flew across the country to do it. I only go every couple years, should have just done it. Lesson learned
We stayed at a Disney Partner Hotel across from Disney Springs, and it was great! Free shuttle, 60 day advanced fast pass and on our "off" days, it was a 5 minute walk to Disney Springs for shopping, food and free entertainment!
I think it makes sense to upgrade. We never would have considered a DVC suite (we are not club members) but having that full kitchen, living room and dining room makes SUCH a huge difference with our 9 person travel group, that it is worth sharing a room with our son and daughter-in-law, and paying a little more for the resort room.
This didn’t happen to me at Disney but it did at universal - not having the right shoes. We went for a long weekend and I packed my running shoes and they hurt my feet badly (I have flat, fussy feet) and my only other shoes were a pair of Nine West boots. I am a stickler for bringing 3 pairs of comfortable shoes from disney that all support my feet in different ways, but for that long weekend, I was packing light and stupidly didn’t pack additional comfortable shoes. Lesson learned.
Prior to Covid I was in line for the monorail at the contemporary when I heard the individual in front of me say, “I started to feel better about 3:30 AM, I think it helped to lay on the cold bathroom floor.” That’s when I first figured out physical distancing, and this was before Covid. 😂😎🌴 Don’t know if it was an illness, or mission space orange 😂😎🌴. But I took a few steps back. 😏.
We have a family of 9 going so we decided to upgrade from two rooms at pop to a two bedroom apartment with a kitchen at Saratoga. Plus my aunt who is partly physically disabled will be at the room for some time. Just made sense to have a larger room for her to move around in instead of a tiny regular room.
Bring a phone charger no matter what. Sometimes when they stop the ride to clean I’m stuck next to an outlet and wish I could charge my phone for 15 minute. Portable chargers too. Bring at least 2, and not the $30 ones at Disney. $5 at Target have gotten me plenty of charge.
I love the $30 one you can or could last time I went in January of this year exchange them for a fully charged one at no extra cost. It was worth the one time fee if you go often like I do.
I regret not taking more photos, I went in 2006 and hardly recognise anything these days! Oh and I no longer talk to anyone I went with (friends) but the memories are still with me..
We always order instacart every trip. We get wine, beer, soda and water. Snacks, bagels with cream cheese so we don’t spend money on breakfast or muffins, we then always grab cold cuts and bread or hot dogs with buns and microwave Mac and cheese cups...if we come back late at night and someone is hungry then least we know we have food. We now bring less clothes with us I normally do a load of laundry I’ll do it at night when we go by the pool say at 11pm I always bring two tide pods and 2 fabric sheets :-) more room for souvenirs.
We prefer to save on the rooms and stay off property when we visit Orlando (we live in south Florida, so weekend trips to Orlando happen sometimes once a year or more). We usually spend so much time in the parks or out around the city that we basically just use our hotel to shower and sleep. But if you plan on spending a good amount of time at the hotel, I could understand wanting to improve your view.
When my girlfriend plans out our holidays I always remind her of a quote from the German military. "No plan of operations survives contact with the enemy!" - general moltke the elder. She now lives by that rule of thought. And it made her enjoy her holiday alot more!
It helps to pack some cereal bowls that you can find at any grocery store. You could eat the cereal by its self or you could also buy some milk to eat it with. This will help with at any time you are hungry at your hotel room.
I’ve been to Orlando 18 times, and I can guarantee that the best period to go is the two first weeks of December and the worst is anytime in July or August. If you need to go during summer staying in a close by hotel is a must, ‘cose there is no better place to be between 11am and 4pm than the swimming pool or an air conditioned room. I also recommend staying in a Disney hotel for the Disney parks and in an Universal hotel for the others.
According to my Fitbit, I do 10-15 miles per day at WDW. Plan accordingly. If you're not in shape, going for walks a few months before your trip will help.
Honey, life is too short. Save save save, and just go. You'll never regret going, but you'll always regret the things you didn't do. Money is replaceable. Memories are not.
My son didn't pack his meds. He had a liver transplant! He was over 20, had to make some phone calls, had to uber 40 minutes away to find a pharmacy that had the right meds. I made him pay for the uber
I took my family of 10 and that year stayed at the Yacht Club. I was disappointed and spent a lot of money on 2 rooms there.. For me, it was too dark and smelled of boat polish for wood. The sister Beach Club was wonderful!
When we go we always rent a car, we are DVC members so we have all the transportation available. Before we check in we hit either Walmart or Publix. We get breakfast, snacks, drinks etc. It saves us alot of $$$, so we can eat at a higher end restaurant once. The rental car price outways spending the money for all meals. Remember you can take snacks and drinks into the parks.
We are local annual pass holders and you can't drag me into Disney in August when the crowds are huge with families on their last big summer vacation before school starts in 98 degrees. Go when it is cooler and school is in session during the weekdays. Ahhhh.. Also don't recommend taking kids when they are too young. Our best times at Disney were with no kids at all! Nice dinners, no fighting and screaming, trader Sam's at the Poly, the Hawaiian luau. Very nice.
I always find it funny when Raglan Road is mentioned on this channel because there's one literally only a 15 minute walk away from my house here in the UK
in my experience, flip flops are hit or miss in disneyworld. they can be uncomfortable at times, but they’re an absolute life saver when it inevitably rains at the park. i like to make sure i have a solid pair of flip flops with straps. personally, i love the sanuk yoga mat shoes because they’re comfortable for walking in all weather :)
Staying on Disney property but not hiring a car. Going on the Wedway People Mover (yes i still call it that) and not taking of photos of the stunning sunset. Going to Disney and not realising it was Spring Break. One thing I don't regret is buying that giant Rock N Roller Rollercoaster boxed pin.
My only regrets from my first and recently finished trip was not riding Slinky Dog Dash or Jingle Cruise and not eating at Oga's Cantina. But otherwise I have no regrets about my very first trip!
Have been to WDW at least 10x, including the year it opened (1971). These videos are great - be sure to see enough of them before your trip. "Planning" is the key to a great WDW trip. If you are going with family and have a little one in a stroller (yes, even a 4- or 5-year-old needs a stroller during a long day at the park), just remember that you are only going to be able to accomplish HALF of what you can when your stroller days are over. And remember, if something goes WRONG on your trip, that will be the thing that the kids laugh about years later when they are adults. Keep calm and try to be extra patient with the kids. When you (adult) are exhausted, hungry and cranky, this can be difficult. Watch the Disney staffers and try to keep a smile on your face no matter what.
We knew the odds of getting on Rise of the Resistance, and with 5 days of passes and 4 parks we choose 2 days of Hollywood Studios. We did only manage 1 pass for RotR, but we also split up the Droid Depot and Savi’s experience between the 2 days. It meant we weren’t have to tote a ton of treasure with us on just one day.
My first trip to WDW, our plane was scheduled to land in Orlando at 5:30. We were going to spend the evening at Disney Springs and had a full day planned for the next day. Unfortunately storms in Orlando pushed our flight back and back so it didn't even take off until 7. We didn't land until 9:30 p.m. and didn't get to the hotel until 11. Our luggage didn't arrive until 1 a.m. Needless to say our plans for Monday went right out the window! It all worked out, but yeah - be flexible in your plans because stuff is always going to happen.
My wife and I decide what parks we're going to on what days and I make an excel spreadsheet for our trip every time. Never fails to make a huge impact. Also, we do 3 Disney Parks and 2 Universal. No Epcot cuz it sucks for little kids.
West coast disneylander but my biggest Disney regret from every time I’ve gone is: Not taking advantage of the resort. If you’re paying the money to stay at the Disneyland resort (or a world one for the East coast and world lovers) then do the stuff the resort offers. Take that resort tour, use the pool, look at the gym and think about it, go to the in resort restaurant, order Disney room service. You’re staying there so why not use everything you’ve paid for?
22:30 For me the Disney Dinning Plan was a waste of money. I was there for 7 days and NOT ONCE did I even eat breakfast. End of my trip I had 7 breakfast vouchers. All went to waste. Just because I rather get to the park quick to ride the Big/Popular rides first thing in the morning when lines are short or if the park opens later to catch up on some much needed sleep.
My Biggest Regret... trying to plan stuff... at all. Just pack essentials and go.. wander aimlessly and snack all day on what looks/smells good. You really can't lose... it's so freeing. Maybe plan "some" days.. but at least one of the days.. plan nothing and just go.
Save money when you can! But in a different way, when your thinking maybe a trip to WDW would be cool in a few years....start putting away money then! I thought “oh we’ve got 2 years...” then suddenly it was time to start booking!!
It's easy for me to not regret going. Neither Port Orleans nor Wilderness Lodge are open. I think I'd regret not being able to stay at one of these two.
I regret not taking more time to enjoy our resort and relax or even going back mid-day for breaks after our first trip. By our second trip, mid-day breaks was a life-saver!!! On shorter trips it's hard to justify this.
My only regret was the trip I didn’t have the dining plan. I realize that we like table service and we est sit down regardless. It’s far less painful to prepay and liberating to get whatever snacks we want.
I don't regret anything when my family and I went for the first time to Disneyworld 2018! It was amazing and loved every second! The firework show was phenomenal!!!
I regret insisting being on a dark ride when the fireworks started. My then 9 yo son booked up the ramp out of Small World to see the last half of the fireworks. Every trip since then, I plan at least one fireworks just sit and snack and absorb.
@@nmhtv3427, that's awesome. Our reveal didn't go as planned, which made it that much more memorable. We live about 2 hours from the Mall of America. So we got a hotel Friday night and told the kids we'd be "getting on rides and going shopping" on Saturday. We didn't want to lie them. Technically, we didn't. LOL. So then we woke them up at about 4:30 AM and said, "We're not going to the mall. We're going to Disney World!" They were too tired to believe us or to even comprehend it. We had to tell them we had their suitcases packed in the trunk of the car and that we had to catch a plane. They still didn't believe us. So I said, "We literally have dinner reservations in Disney World tonight. We have to get up and get going." Finally, it started to sink in. So, not the TV-commercial reveal we had in our minds, but memorable for sure. HAVE A BLAST!!!

@@benn5962 I have about five Disney items I'm going to put one each layer and then the middle layer is going to be the bands then we will leave two days after that
upgrading a room....I'm not sure if it's "worth" it for the amount of time you spend in it. Everyone obviously has their own opinions but as a tightly budgeted family of 5 we have and will continue to book off property. It is tough to fit 5 in a room with a 12 y/o boy and two girls under 8. We did Lion King Suites and I didn't feel it was "worth" the cost. I rented a whole 5 bedroom house for less then the room with a 20 minute drive. Pros and cons to both options for sure but I feel that Disney is out on control price wise and it is sad that many people can't go because of all the costs added up. Love the video tho :)
Biggest regret - wasting $ on a hotel room when I can get a nice Airbnb with my own room, bathroom, and kitchen for way less. Staying at resort makes no sense to me, personally, though I do think they are really pretty. Leaving on Saturday for Disney!!! So excited.
Be our guest travel agency has been heaven sent for me when I planned my first trip. There is no charge for their services and they are so helpful with planning everything from your park tickets to your flight.
18:12 - Agreed. I'm against impulse buying but a Disney trip is different. That thing you saw earlier and were sure you could come back for later is gone. During a two week stay at WDW I wanted a t-shirt from the gift shop. I should have bought it when I saw it. Later it was gone in my size and over the next week and a half I kept checking back and it was never restocked. I found out later that some items are so specialty that "what you see is what you get." There may not BE a restock because a newer T-shirt is about to be released. ( or mug, or pin, or whatever. ) After my trip I found myself going online to buy things I missed in the park because I thought I'd be wise and wait until the end. What a rotten idea that turned out to be.
YO. The second number 1 left Aj's mouth, I was nodding my head! I will NEVER stay at an All-Star without a preferred room AGAIN. DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY MILES IT IS FROM THE FRONT TO THE BACK OF AN ALL STAR? Cause it feels like 7 after rope drop to fireworks with a toddler 😂
By all means...go to the Disney parks! It's a clean, wholesome experience for an individual alone...male or female...or with a family. The children will love it! We all need some fun and joy in our lives. There is so much of the "other"...the ugliness of our world...that we have to face on a daily basis, and will never go away. The concept of the Disney parks is a blessing to all of us who enjoy the good times and happiness from being alive. Be sure that your camera phone is working. Young children 5 or younger won't remember all the fun times that they had there when get older...but they'll see the pictures. I've been to the Disney parks...by myself!...at least 20 times since the 1980s, and I regret nothing! College math teacher since 1983.
I think the biggest regret is to know who you're going with. I will never got anywhere with someone who doesn't want to go. I don't care if it's to Disneyworld or just up to the corner pub. Leave them at home or expect me to break away from the pack to actually enjoy myself once we get there. I have only gone solo or with one other person so I'm not an expert on the next thing but when I'm in a line behind/ahead of a large party, it sounds like they spend their entire time keeping track of each other. Split up. I mean, you can't always if it's parents and 5 little kids but if there are a bunch of aunts and uncles, teens and tweens, split into smaller groups. With phones it's easy to keep in touch and you don't spend so much time trying to find each other.
Biggest regret is never getting enough walking in before the trip to build up the endurance The past 2 times now, I've gotten excruciating foot pain after only 2 days of walking (usually Animal Kingdom into Epcot, which are pretty tough to walk back to back. Thanks, magic hours!)
@DFBGuide order vs. chaos...always best to walk in the parks clockwise/counter rather than going from one end and zig zag back and forth. Wastes time , causes chaos, and misses out on lots of things
Regret planning to go to work the day after returning home. Always plan for a day to take a vacation from your vacation!

Yes! Very important! My family always leaves disney on Saturday so we have Sunday to unpack and get ready for work and school
Yes! I knew this would be a problem even on our first trip. I always give us a weekend to recoup or at least a day or two!
This is SO true for any vacation. Makes coming home much less painful.

I went alone last month because no one was as committed or willing to save their money! It was worth it! My BFF was even in another part of Florida while I was there, so we got to go to magic kingdom for a day together!

Disney Villains: Cruella, Ursula, Maleficent and Aunt Susan
Saw a blog that you can get vacuum sealed bags to make extra room In Your suitcase . I’m with AJ. Over pack, BUT. Then find a way to pack it all in!
Sorry to hear that you got sick on Disney trips, glad you were both okay and the trip wasn't completely ruined ♥️🙏🏻
Remember, you're going to FL. Not Death Valley. Bring comfortable clothing and don't overdo it

Yup. Agree, fall my fave time to go.

Our last trip we ordered new suitcases via Amazon to be delivered to our room. 🤣
Stuff delivered to the room is a life saver!
Biggest regret by far was visiting in the Summer. We visited in late June of 2019 and the heat and humidity were truly unbearable.
I can imagine. Im sorry though. Glad we decided we are going in the winter
AJ, I love when you say “You do you” and does everyone have a know it all Aunt Susan?
i love that the DFB villian is "aunt susan" 🤣
My son has two Aunt Susans. They're both very weird. :)
2:31 "Thinking I can do more than I actually can" - that happens on all my trips.
Yes! A room close to the lobby is a must!
Am amazed each time with how great your voiceovers are no matter the subject.
Prior to Covid I was in line for the monorail at the contemporary when I heard the individual in front of me say, “I started to feel better about 3:30 AM, I think it helped to lay on the cold bathroom floor.”
That’s when I first figured out physical distancing, and this was before Covid. 😂😎🌴
Don’t know if it was an illness, or mission space orange 😂😎🌴. But I took a few steps back. 😏.
A pity the rest of your country couldn't take that on board.
Definitely Mission space 🤣🤢
Going to the gym when visiting Disney World? You can get enough exercise just walking around the parks!
Especially with no trams in the parking lots!
Yeah, but as Jim Gaffigan said, the real magic of Disney World is walking 10 miles a day & still gaining weight.
Regretted not having warm clothes, when I stayed there one November week
I am going to Disney tomorrow!!! I am so excited

The trick is to wear all the cloths so the suitcase is empty for the good stuff!
I’d love for you to make a guide and tips video for solo travelers to Disney!
The workout comes from the 15-20 miles you walked in Disney World.

May not go to disney ever again in my lifetime.. Cant afford it. But i LOVE these videos. Her voice is my therapy lol
Honey, life is too short. Save save save, and just go. You'll never regret going, but you'll always regret the things you didn't do. Money is replaceable. Memories are not.
When the pandemic is over I will be planning a trip! These videos give me so much hope!
It's a shame the world has been put on pause for a virus less deadly than the flu
Same with me! My next trip will not be until 2022 or 2023.
I booked my trip yesterday and I accidentally booked an extra day... I wasn’t even mad
My son didn't pack his meds. He had a liver transplant! He was over 20, had to make some phone calls, had to uber 40 minutes away to find a pharmacy that had the right meds. I made him pay for the uber
Having food in your room and backpack is a fabulous tip!
I have one thing I regret. Loosing the bracelet I bought in Adventureland on my trip, the day we left. Loved that bracelet and I never saw it again.
I lost my magic band with my name on it. It meant the world to me since it was my very first trip to Disney World. It still hurts.
My wife and I decide what parks we're going to on what days and I make an excel spreadsheet for our trip every time. Never fails to make a huge impact. Also, we do 3 Disney Parks and 2 Universal. No Epcot cuz it sucks for little kids.
West coast disneylander but my biggest Disney regret from every time I’ve gone is:
Not taking advantage of the resort.
Breakfast vouchers? As the dining plan changed? I bought it twice and there are no specific meal points. 🤷 Or maybe the Deluxe has...don't know.

That's what I'm doing. As soon as we decided to go, I started saving
@ 21:28 what is that called i wanna get it
I regret insisting being on a dark ride when the fireworks started. My then 9 yo son booked up the ramp out of Small World to see the last half of the fireworks. Every trip since then, I plan at least one fireworks just sit and snack and absorb.

@@benn5962 I can't wait 6 more days still a secret I'm proud of myself lol I can't wait
We have to get up and get going." Finally, it started to sink in. upgrading a room....I'm not sure if it's "worth" it for the amount of time you spend in it.

Better just to stay at pop century
Biggest regret is never getting enough walking in before the trip to build up the endurance
The past 2 times now, I've gotten excruciating foot pain after only 2 days of walking (usually Animal Kingdom into Epcot, which are pretty tough to walk back to back. Thanks, magic hours!)
Downtown Disney is a must do. Arrival day. Great vid AJ!
@DFBGuide order vs. chaos...always best to walk in the parks clockwise/counter rather than going from one end and zig zag back and forth. Wastes time , causes chaos, and misses out on lots of things
Loved that we budgeted for everything, so we could enjoy our trip with no regrets!
