- This video was a collossal pain in the ass to make. It took ages to film, it took ages to edit and my render failed 3 times. Quality stuff kids.
So…. This is my Captain Jack Sparrow cosplay. This is mainly a video showing the parts breakdown and most of the dressing process, but not the make up, or beard styling. That’ll be another video. This costume has been a constant work in progress since 2010, with so many upgrades and tweaks, it’ll likely never be done.
Some important things to note, A lot (almost all) of this costume has been made possible by the research and products of so many Sparrows, including the lovely lads in the Facebook group “The Locker (Jack Sparrows Only) and the work of www.jacksparrowcostuming.com. A lot of the information, makers and even general product availability has been lost to time, as it’s been over 15 years since At Worlds End was released. The Search for information is your reward.
I don’t make any parts of Jack’s costume to sell, please don’t ask cos I’ll just be a smart ass to you in response.

How did you stitch the two wigs together?
Just cut the dreads off one wig and stitched them into the other wig with a needle and thread
Where did you get the ring box?
I found it at Disneyland when I was there in 2019

It was a trinket box I bought from Disneyworld back in 2013 or 2016 I believe. I added the foam padding to hold the rings
