What's up everyone👋 Just a heads up, these wheels were miss labelled as Badlands 1.9" Buggy wheels and I didn't realise until after editing this video so I do refer to them as 1.9s in this video but they are definitely Badlands MX 1.85" Truck wheels as the title and thumbnail shows. Sorry guys, hope you enjoy the video🙂
Thanks Tim! Yes SUPER grippy on the grass and honestly they have exceptional grip on the loose dirt compared to almost all the wheels I have around this size, amazing wheels!
I am a big fan of trying different wheel/tyre combos. Mine are mostly Ali express cheapies. Dirt and grass always is so much more forgiving than skate park concrete. Doesn't matter which car when I go to a skate park I come home in 😭 I'm charging batteries right now to take the VRX Cobra and Q117 for a little bash session. Catch you on the next one.
Definitely fun to experiment with wheel combos, there is definitely some good cheap wheels out there for sure. Yeah I'm lucky if I go home with a complete car after a skatepark session😅 And I been thinking of bringing out my VRX, been a while. Thanks Jason👍
Whaaaaat? I didn't know these little bubby wheels existed. Sweet ! I run Badlands 3.8s and my only complaint is they don't like to stay glued on 6s. I doubt your Typhon will have that issue. I always like to see new tire configurations. It's probably the easiest way to switch up how your RC handles. I actually like to put buggy tires on my 6s Kagama every once in a while, as it's practically un-tip-over-able like that. I like the little pop up graphics that show what's in the RC. They're a nice addition to the videos. 👍🏼
Honestly I didn't know of them either until someone on my channel said to try them, couldn't find the comment to give them a shout out🫤 Yeah I kinda thought the 3.8s under huge load would be vulnerable to de-beading, I haven't had much experience with Proline. When I first truggified my Krayon(Typhon mega hybrid) I wanted to try the stock wheels because I knew it would be basically impossible to roll over, love the wide but low set stance aswell🤩 And thanks mate, I been adding overlays in my videos for a long time I just forgot to do it a lot of the time🥴
Awesome fun mate great too see you both got out and about. Bugger about the breakage that’s an expensive replacement part they certainly aren’t trying to make the hobby affordable 👎🏻 Cheers
Stoked to get back out with dad before he has to go back to work absolutely! Next video is at the Altona Park aswell, KAGAMA FUN🤪 But yep 100% agree, this car for example, at first you think AWESOME so easy to work on and just a great car in general, then you break a part like a tower that traditionally would be separate from the chassis and much cheaper to replace or even upgrade compared to a complete chassis😬 Oh well, I still love the Grom series😉 Cheers Michael!
Great Video Bro. I put the typhon grom wheels on the rlaarlo rog 1 and it worked fine. Didnt drive as well offroad though. The badlands make the typhon grom look really good. Im sure it drives better.
Thanks mate😁 Yeah the Typhon wheels being slightly smaller than the Rog1 wheels the car would've been a little harder to get through the grass and stuff but still fun to experiment. These Badlands definitely look good and yes they perform amazingly🤩 Totally worth trying them even for the Rog1👌
Nice video mate. Those tyres and wheels look like the gear, next upgrade for the Grom. I don't know about anyone else, but I wouldn't mind seeing a video on the repairs, I never seem to have much luck with glues. My really big question is where do you get your soundtrack music, very cool 😎.

All good mate I just LOVE you content. Just a real honest bloke.
Always try and be honest I just got to research the products a bit better before filming🤦😅
Thanks Antonio🙏
Impressive driving🎉
Was fun that's for sure🤪
Thanks mate!
I’m getting these for my Typhon for sure after seeing this. Nice video mate
I think you should enjoy them, I absolutely love them😁
Thanks mate👍
Good video. Nice bash session. Those tires look like they definitely have great traction on the grass.
Thanks Tim!
