Hello bhai! One thing to clear your doubted knowledge. Manipuri doesn't mean meitei. Manipuri means those people who are living in Manipur like bihari from bihar. So you should say Manipuri to everyone living in Manipur. Apart from the fact that meitei is the major indigenous tribe in Manipur followed by naga and KUKI(some of them are not indigenous/original, illegally migrated from Myanmar and other neighbouring countries).
