I admire you for having the right mindset. Go go go, never lookback. Again, if you have the chance to be certified go for it. Yeah, tailor your resume to what the job requires. With the persistence you have, I know you will one day find the job you want. My advise, never look back into who you are in Pinas. Honestly, I was like you 20yrs ago. Survival job is the key as a start up. I became a janitor for 18mos. but it never stopped me from looking for a job in line with my field. To make the story short, I am now working for one of the best employers in Canada for 18yrs in line with my field- a drinking water specialist in the biggest city in Canada and the good thing is I never applied for this job...it's the employer who spotted me because of the skills and experience I have in Pinas but it doesn't mean na hindi rin ako dumaaan sa butas ng karayom. Came in this country alone and gave up my promising career in Pinas not knowing what to expect. But I put all my trust up there. Don't worry if you are rejected at some point in your job applications. To ease the disappointments, think that maybe it is not the right one for you and something best is yet to come. Another tips for you, don't be afraid to say something about your professional background in Phils to people na makasalamuha mo. And to all who are aspiring to come here, lunukin nyo ang pride ninyo. Canada is not a perfect place just as majority of Filipinos are thinking. May mga corruption at mahihirap din po dito yun nga lang hindi gaya sa Pinas na garapalan ang pangongotong. Mataas ang standard ng buhay kaya lahat halos ng mga tao dito nabubuhay sa utang. Kaya huwag pong magalit sa mga kamag-anak na nandito pag hindi kayo pinagbigyan ng gusto nyo dahil bago nila kikitain ang dolyares ay kinakailangan nilang titiisin ang -20C (to minus 50C) na lamig papuntang work.

Especially sa weather hehehe, before we got our car, kailangan naming maglakad papunta sa bus stop during snow storm and mag antay ng bus for at least 5 minutes under -40c weather. But. I believe that all of these sacrifices will be worth it by the end of the day 🥰🥰 thank you so much for sharing po. Now looking back all the hard-work and sacrifices paid off. So Yeah for those who are planning to come to canada just a piece of advice, prepare yourself physically,emotionally,spiritually also set your goal and have the right mindset. Masarap na mahirap pero lahat nmn kakayanin bsta sipag at tyaga lng po tlga. 😊

BTW andito ako now sa UAE and I am looking forward n mkapunta sa canada this Jan 2023 (inshaallah), can you walk me through kung anong magandang option para sa POF considering na meron akong pang full payment ng Tuition Fee? Yes you can get student loan sa pinas. Actually, ang options na inexample na documents ng IRCC for POF is ito: Income Tax, Bank Statement, Proof of Student Loan, Sponsorship :) So yes, possible na pwede kang mag student loan sa pinas and un ang gamitin nyo for POF. But take note, you need to explain how you plan to pay-off your student loan, magiging worth it ba ung loan mo na yun? Consider mo ung future income mo sa PINAS pag katapos ng schooling mo sa Canada. Dapat WORTH it :) May malaking downside yun e hehehe. Kung makahanap ka ng mag sponsor sayo, that might help A LOT. Ako ay degree holder at work ko sa Pinas ay sa retail store related sa finance. At nsa 50+ age ko dream ko parin mka punta ng Canada. Khit ano work cleaner farm worker, picker atbp basta importante mka pgwork dyn.. sa Job bank of Can ako nag aaply. . khit NO EXPERIENCE AT HS EDUCATION inaaplayan ko.. kso problema ano ilalagay ko sa resume at cover letter wala ak karanasan sa ganito work. Pls help me on this.
That is okay po. No need po ang work experience kapag na filter nyo hehe. But, I suggest po na mag lagay kayo ng relevant skills. For example, "I am very adaptive and very hardworking", "I can lift 100lb" etc.. hehe

Sir matanong ko lang po... Nagscreening session ako today sa isang immigration consulatancy na nakabase sa canada... and napagusapan namin ang under contract nila is 6 months to 1 year as labourer... Then sa expenses... Matanong ko lang po... Mahirap po ba maghanap ng work dyan sa canada after ng contract? Hs grad po ako and my skills naman ako like welding... Nasa taiwan po ako ngayon as factory worker... Please enlighten me sir... Thank you...
Once makapasok po kayo dito sa Canada, mas malaki po chance nyo makahanap ng LMIA jobs later on before matapos ang contract nyo. Build connections po habang nag wowork sa contract job, hanap ng mga possible employers na mag sponsor, approach filipino communities sa area. Ito po ma advise ko. Kasi sa panahon ng gipitan, marami kayong malalapitan. And kapag may network po kayo, mas malaki chance nyo maka hanap ng LMIA job. P.S. i find it very risky po ha. I suggest do your deep reaearch for backup plans :)

@@ashleyraiven4756 woah! Nice. Ang pathway ko po ay intl student to PR pathway :) kumukuha ako ngayon ng post bachelor cert in accouting sa Univ of Lethbridge. Then once ma PR, tsaka ako mag continue to get my CPA dito sa Canada ;) We have video po reagarding student pathway :) I also have some video din how to apply jobs in Canada while you are in the Philippines or elsewhere. Yes po. You need a valid VISA po. You need a work permit as well para makapag work kayo dito :)
Sir matanong ko lang po... Nagscreening session ako today sa isang immigration consulatancy na nakabase sa canada... and napagusapan namin ang under contract nila is 6 months to 1 year as labourer... Then sa expenses... Matanong ko lang po... Mahirap po ba maghanap ng work dyan sa canada after ng contract? Hs grad po ako and my skills naman ako like welding...

Once makapasok po kayo dito sa Canada, mas malaki po chance nyo makahanap ng LMIA jobs later on before matapos ang contract nyo.
Build connections po habang nag wowork sa contract job, hanap ng mga possible employers na mag sponsor, approach filipino communities sa area. Ito po ma advise ko. Kasi sa panahon ng gipitan, marami kayong malalapitan. And kapag may network po kayo, mas malaki chance nyo maka hanap ng LMIA job.
P.S. i find it very risky po ha. I suggest do your deep reaearch for backup plans :)

@@ashleyraiven4756 woah! Nice. Ang pathway ko po ay intl student to PR pathway :) kumukuha ako ngayon ng post bachelor cert in accouting sa Univ of Lethbridge. Then once ma PR, tsaka ako mag continue to get my CPA dito sa Canada ;)
