What can i say........this was quite a build. I watched this one in two sessions due to tiredness, but never really lost the flow or the enthusiasm to see this building come to life. Something i realised was missing from my time in the game, especially when Farm DLC was released (which for console users like me was later than when you received it), was that we don't have to simply create a standard square foundation. Watching this creation in particular shows just how unique we can make our designs. You highlight this perfectly.
I was most delighted by (no, not the record player😁) how spacious and bright this property was becoming with so much natural light being prominent throughout the structure. And with this came so many views of the outdoor space. Stunning. Absolutely stunning. I know these are old builds, and you are now working on newer works of art, which i will get to eventually, but each one of your videos deserves to be watched, and temporarily "lived" in to appreciate the beauty and thought that has gone into it. Thank you.🙂
Thank you so much! This house started as two separate living spaces. I originally built it to make one side a studio or grandparent quarters but I soon realized it was too small to do that and I wanted to incorporate the stairs leading up to the entrance so I had to scratch that idea. The floorplan of the house is really awkward because I designed the outside for appearance and with the idea of it being two living spaces so it was a struggle at first but I figured if I made it an AirBnB, the awkwardness wouldn't matter as much. I also had not played around with "modern" design at all at that point so I did things that I thought were "modern" but probably aren't, lol. I love using a lot of windows in houses, I am fine with windows in every space even if they "shouldn't" be there, like showers. I think windows and plants make or break a house so I use them liberally in most builds. In the end, I really liked how it turned out. 😊
You certainly have every reason to like the end result.
And i more or less agree with you regarding windows everywhere. Showers though/bathrooms.......i like natural light but there is also the privacy factor. I would be very particular with my window placements.😁

Just a heads up…residential light switch height is 48 inches from the ground, that would put it about 4 inches above the door knobs(about where the lock would be).
My attention to details like that could be better lol. I often forget outlets and things like that as well. Apparently people that move in to some of my homes won't be able to power their electronics and will need stools to turn on the lights 😊
@@GiGiDesignGames lol, i don’t think I’ve installed one outlet in the hundred or so homes I’ve done…who needs power anyways when everything turns on without it. 😂
Why is it that House flipper on PC have better objects than on consoles?
I have never played the game on console so I am not sure if there are game items that are available on PC but not on console. I do know that anyone that purchased the game through Steam have access to community created items available on the Steam workshop. I use a lot of these items because they can really allow for more creativity while decorating and building.

I know you can build stairs to access and decorate the attic. I have had a little trouble making it look right which is why I haven't done it yet in a house but I know it can be done.

which dlc are you using to make these houses?
Farm DLC allows you to build houses but I use items from all of the DLCs as well as the Steam workshop.

I get a lot of items on the Steam workshop. You just go to the game on Steam and click on the workshop for that game. Search the workshop and subscribe to items that you like. Those items will show up in your game available to use.

I think you need to have bought the game through Steam in order to use the workshop (I am not positive about that though). I don't have a PS4 so I don't really know much about it. I'm sorry, I wish I could be more help.
Workshop items are PC exclusive. I Spent over 50 Euro to get HF and all DLCs on PC just to have those. :D @@GiGiDesignGames

The stairs are built inside and then I use modular frames to open up the entrance of the stairs from the outside if that makes sense.

Why did you skip showing us how you installed the stairs? You just time jumped and had a completely different layout.
To be honest, I have no idea. I have shown this stair trick in several other videos so I am guessing something happened during the video editing. The stairs are created inside the building facing an outside wall and then using modular frames to open up the entrance of the stairs. If you want to see an example of that you can see it for sure in the bakery speed build video starting at 3:30.
@@GiGiDesignGames I think I figured it out. The main reason I’m here was to try and figure out stairs, for some reason they aren’t the exact size to fit the gaps I’m creating. There always seems to be a huge gap on one side of the bottom of the stairs that always looks awful, I was hoping to see you had figured out a solution but it doesn’t look like it.
Can you install pools on the farm properties?
I have only installed pools on the empty lots in the Farm DLC. I am assuming that you can install pools on all of them but I cannot guarantee 100%.
@@GiGiDesignGames I just got the dlc yesterday on Xbox, and it won’t allow me to add pools to any of the properties(even the empty lots).
