I do believe that the Panthers are headed in the right direction. The change at QB was a huge pivot in a better direction. They beat the Raiders and almost beat the Bengals, let's go!

They were competitive all the way to end. All I can ask for from these Panthers.
Chins up and smiles on, that's something I haven't seen after a loss in a while! Now all we need to do is see if the grass zamboni driver can be a ringer on defense like David Ayres was for the 'Canes next time.

I was very happy they were able to compete and come back from trailing behind 14 points. It shows we have the ability to win and that the players are doing their best. Chuba was a freaking boss again 💪🏼
That said, I was yelling over the amount of missed tackles and due to that, Bengals' ability to score on us. We should be able to stop them on plays. I know the defense has injuries, but next man up should step up and be ready. Too many drops. Special teams messing up the field position.
I hope this loss can help the team work on those minor issues and the injured players get well soon 🤞🏼

It feels good to actually have a chance to win. Andy Dalton is energizing. But diontae Johnson and Xavier legette are stars. If we tighten up the drops and wrap up on our tackles, we have the potential to be a contender for a NFC South champ

We Underestimated the Bengals Today and it was very apparent that we weren't mentally locked in Today. A play or two here and there, we're sitting at 2-2 tonight. We will grow from this experience. Outside of a couple mistakes, I'm proud of these guys and the culture is Back in Carolina.

Fully bought in to the Dan Morgan and Dave Canales era. Let these men work and let's see where we are in 2 years. We are finally going in the right direction. At least it feels that way which is more than we could say since 2018.
Let's not get it twisted, the Bengals are a top 10 team regardless of their record. Panthers competed but didn't play their best. Everything outside of injuries can be fixed with coaching and more playing time.
I think we played a good game today. Defense was clearly beaten by the bengals offense. If they could’ve held the offense to more 3 and outs, I think we would’ve won. I’m still proud of my panthers for the competitive game they played. Still a HUGE difference compared to the first 2 games.
A tough loss but I think we have something to be excited about as far as team direction. Chicago should be a winnable game next week.
Even with some of the mistakes on offense. Defense is what really cost us the game.
Defense kept us in till midway thru the 4th , we had a cpl mishaps on defense on secondary but the pressure was there and a pick... we had drops... and all our linebacker got hurt???hello

A loss is always hard for the team and for the fans. When you suffer a loss where the team is competitive and shows improvement, that is a loss I can stomach!!! Panthers showed great potential, keep pounding!!!

I think we should give Bryce Young some game reps in the fourth quarter of a few games. Maybe let him start some games towards the end of the season when we know playoffs are not a question. See if we can build his confidence back up

This team was in it, through all the mistakes and setbacks, up until the Mingo drop. Drops, flags including some ticky tack calls and injuries, yet they showed they were not going away.
Sidenote: I still got a fanduel dub (4-0 so far) by taking the points over 46.5.
The Panthers basically beat themselves today if you think about it. That should tell you how far we’ve come from week 2.

Tackling and pass rush is the defense Achilles heel. Dalton is our QB1. Worried about Shaq and Jewel injuries. Hope it isnt long term and they can be back next week.

I am glad they were competitive and offense looking better but they need to win more games. I know the bar is low but we might need to raise it some. They got to win more than 2 wins. If we look competitive but still not getting wins I don't know if that is good enough. We need competitiveness and more than 2 wins.

Just a few mistakes they'll get better with reps
I think what's even crazier is we're doing this with injuries across the board. The 49ers are expected to still be good even with all the big injuries on their team, but us we're not seen as a team with a lot of depth behind the starters, but we're looking better every week despite the injuries that keep piling up. If we have Shaq, Jewel and Thielen this entire game plus Derrick Brown, we're winning this game. If we have DJ Wonnum and Johnathon Brooks to add, we win the game, and it's a very different scoreboard. So i'm not upset about today at all. There's definitely things that need to be cleaned up, especially on defense, giving up big chunk plays against the run and those big pass plays, we need to be better stopping the run and adding more pressure to stop those big pass plays and tackling, you can't have that many missed tackles. And on offense catch the ball, young guys need to step up, you're getting these opportunities, catch the ball when your name is called. Andy will get better as well the more comfortable he gets in this offense and building that chemistry with the offense. We're headed in the right direction. Chuba is a true number one. Don't let him go. Him and Johnathon Brooks will be a great one two punch.

It’s just poor execution. This is the third time in four games the defense has been pushed around. I know Derrick Brown being out hurts, but the defense lacks playmakers.
This defense is 🔥🗑🚮 giving up an average of 32 points per game!!
We know we were going to struggle with pass rush well before the season started. I didn't know we were going to struggle blitzing with more than 4 pass rushers. Our blitz packages are terrible. Luvu is surely missed

Back in the Jerry Richardson days I use to say the only team that can beat the panthers is the panthers.. that how I feel the last 2 weeks.. that fake punt shoulda been automatic.. they starting to feel like the cardiac cats again..we gonna beat Chicago next week somehow..
