I'm excited for Galactus. I'm also happy that we got Firelord. I already have the Terrax BAF, and I don't have an affinity for the Fallen One, so I'm passing on the 2-pack. Honestly, I would have bought a single carded Fallen One, but I'm not falling for this cash grab from Hasbro. Other Heralds on my wishlist are Air Walker and Stardust.
Great review... I'm all in on Galactus, his herald's and the FF as they are my favorite comic book caricatures..This fire lord will look great with the rest on the shelf.
I always liked firelord since I first saw him in a comic going toe to toe with Spidey on Earth. This figure looks the part and I'm glad he has extra hands. I imagine him as bigger and more imposing than Spidey so I would've preferred him on the new Vulcan bod. I'd love the Haslab Galactus but haven't ordered it as I simply don't have the cash for it. I really thing they should sculpt a brand new smaller Terrax, more in line with the Morg figure they're bringing out. The old one's articulation is dated though the sculpt is great. From what I've heard Bor was on the Terrax mould.
I can't wait for Galactus! The figure itself would've been enough, but the additions of Nova and Morg (and Surfer to a lesser degree) made it a must have for me because I grew up on the Starlin/Lim run. Hopefully Airwalker is not far behind, and I REALLY hope Tyrant gets made one day as well.
Great video review MCU. Like you, I have no issues for the re-issues for products that require an upgrade. It gives the collectors a chance to own one. It keeps the hobby living. The only issue I have with this one is that I do not think it should have been on a Retro card. Some more flame accessories like we got with the recent Human Torch would have displayed a little more effort then this under-sized product if it was a regular standard release.
Great review as always! I backed Galactus, which kind of surprises me because I was very critical of the kickstarter at the time. I still don't think it was handled well. I felt like it was too expensive and they didn't convince me that it was worth the value. On top of that, they were very stubborn in revealing the unlock tiers (and they also seemed unreachable), so it was hard to drum up excitement to get more people on board and move through those tiers faster. $400 was a lot for a toy, and I don't think many people thought he was worth it. It wasn't until the unlockable figures became a reality that more people started jumping on board. Ultimately, I decided to back it because it is Galactus and something like this will likely never happen again but I don't think I would have bought it if we didn't also get more figures packed in to pump up the perceived value. I think the HISS tank is the best handled Haslab to date, and I think the "early bird" unlock is a great way to get the initial momentum going and get to that first unlock quick. That is the key to keeping people excited because the tiers are like a domino effect. So hopefully they learned from the slow-starting Galactus campaign so we can avoid that in the future. I'm excited for Galactus to show up and even though these additional heralds like Firelord and Terrax look acceptable, I'm skipping them unless they go on sale. I don't need more figures to surround my Galactus. However, if they decided to make some 6" sentinels......... I wouldn't be able to pass those up
I feel like they could of included all the heralds if they just got rid of that stupid Dr. Doom head! I mean who's going to Display there figure with that head! Why not give him a Throne? Or maybe some Fire Blast effects or maybe some sought of Base with City Ruins? 🤔.. I must say this figure is beautiful! I love this new Retro style packaging! I feel like I must buy 2! One to open and one to Display in package! Wasn't Red Hulk and that Mech Hulk Harold's of Galactus as well? 🤔 As always great great videos! And thank you for the content!

Some fire effects like the ones Tomashi Nations make would really lift this figure. Hasbro should make some. Ice effects too.
