Love your work! These lectures have become almost like a sunday school for me. I always find them to be interesting and I often find them transformative. My weekly communion with the Other. Thanks for doing what you do.
wonderful lecture! keep up the amazing work! i have learned so much from you and it is really helping me progress further in my philosophical studies, thank you!
Hey Julian good afternoon from nyc: have a concern I was hoping to see your advice on as you are in part one of my subjects supposed to know. I often times will be talking about stuff with people in person, and a topic will come up that I have read/studied a lot about, but for some reason the things I learned and took notes on about this topic just goes blank in my mind and it causes almost great shame and disappointment that I could not remember most of the things I assumed would be easy knowledge to recollect. Have you dealt with this before, if so, how did you overcome or at least deal with it better? because it gives me a lot of anxiety when I can't articulate insights into topics or give my full view on them because I couldn't remember most of what I learned through note taking and studying (only to view my notes on it later on at home and think "how did I forget this point, How did I fail to mention this idea when I have literally written personal essays on it before"). Thank you in advance for any responses
35:52 The night of the world Soviet block..the useful...needed the excess enjoyment of the useless of capitalism but limited through sacrifice the useful ( Todd McGowan) in order for us to survive ie : climate catastrophe. The Soviet block plus excess through art. An excessive art that is limited by insisting on a dialectical night's presence as well?
Do not think that Hegels Christian Ontology is very convincing but nevertheless it is very interisting to learn about it and very much enjoy your lectures!

Kant's view of freedom is the most relatable one I've found. A lot of people think the opposite of what he said to be true

Julian, what's the point of removing your other videos? :
