I really admire how positive and stoic Sam is. He has such a sunny, 'can do' attitude! ☀He's honest about when a horse might be 'tricky' but he always thinks the best of the horses and has confidence that they'll be good today. It's really noticeable how calm and relaxed and good natured this positive approach makes him, which in turn transmits to the horses who you can tell like his energy. If I were his client, this would be a huge plus and a reason to keep hiring him. People like dealing with positive people! Great job, Sam! ☀
There hasn't been this much excitement since.... since.... since the last video! I sustain my impatience by rewatching some of the other videos. I particularly like the one where "someone" is desperately trying to check the feet of a four-month old horse named Chaos. Ahem. Seriously, just set that section on repeat and watch at your heart's content. It brings a smile to my face every time, as all of your videos and updates do. Looking forward to more education, information about Tom, fun, and the lovely English countryside. Can't wait! You two are the BEST! OMG Tom is SMILING in the thumbnail!!!
I'm at the beginning of the video and Tom is uncharacteristically quiet. I hope he hasn't taken to heart any previous comments about him being a cheeky lad etc! Number 1 - don't listen to d*ckheads on the internet, Tom. 2. You be you! You're a great lad and we're really grateful to get to share in in your apprentice journey. Keep your head up, darling.
I think Tom is a fine young man and I great learner. He’s going to school. He will do well under Sam’s teachings. God bless you all Tom you’re darling don’t you let no one hurt your feelings, sweetie. We all love you. You’re the next Sam something to look forward to your friend in Nebraska Debbie.
I think I've said it before...but I don't know if you guys ever watch the TH-cam videos with the captioning on...but the computer interpretation of Yorkshire accent is *hilarious* 😆
Tom, thank you for explaining the horses' hoof structure to us non-equestrians. Sam, thank you for explaining the padding procedure for Halo. It was very interesting. 😊👍 Can't wait to see Tom's pumpkin outfit, lol. Love your videos guys. ✌
Great video! Love all the knowledge and of the special banter between the two of you. You’re like the dynamic duo. You both really care about the horse’s well-being and they love you for it. 😊🐴❤️
Another fabulous vlog. Love the repore you both have with your clients and especially with the horses. Sam, how you talk of each of the horses, donkeys as to each of their uniqueness and personalities. Thanks for sharing.
I put on my Facebook page for people to watch his channel, I grew up in Texas, so many of us have been around horses in some way, several becoming veterinarians equines and other larger animals. Halo is a real beauty.
I shared these videos with my friend in Scotland! She should take a trip down to Yorkshire and/or buy a pony. Wonder if a pony would be allowed to live in a flat in Glasgow? Sam and Tom 5:52 could make a house call! 😂
Super video guys. Love seeing the many horses you visit on a daily basis which only a handful you film for viewing . Each their own personalities. This last horse is a favorite. He's so Kool. 🌞 I like how Tom asks you questions.. about technical practical solutions as to why certain methods are used. Bravo 🐎
Wow! You are getting closer and closer to the 100k mark really fast! That’s exciting! Love the educational content from Tom. When you teach, you learn it deeper. He’s really doing himself a favor by teaching on the videos. I really like when Tom asks you questions that require a fuller explanation, too. You’re an excellent teacher, Sam. Thanks for sharing ‼️

You're welcome Tom!! Sam going in bare. 😏😂😂 I needed this today. Very much. Bit of a downer day yesterday so re-watched Baby Velvet, Hessel and Jelki last night. So sweet and warmed my heart. Always a pleasure to watch you two work ~ Marci
For all the banter Tom gets, that was a really well delivered bit of Hoof anatomy, Top man! Responsibility seems to be growing from video to video aswell, from picking out ready for Sam to Burning on shoes now. Great progression, only comes with good education and guidance...good effort team

Hey Sam and Tom, have you guys ever tried your hand at sorting out hooves of cows/bulls? I also watch the Hoof GP channel, he's lovely just like you two, and his work is fascinating as well. I'm always in awe of the countryside footage - and when it's nice sunny weather it just highlights how pretty it is. Also, you didn't sign off with your usual 'loveyabye' Sam. What are you studying Tom?
Yes, I have asked for a possible video just on his visible tattoos. Well unless he wants to let us see those not visible. He’s a cheeky enough. He clearly uses his words to make us smile. I guess I should say me smile. He knows when he says things that are teasers to us. I love it thank you Sam. We love Tom too.!!!❤❤❤❤❤
I also want to know their backstory. Are they related? Are they single? How long have they worked together? How many horses/donkeys do they do in a week? How much does it cost to have a horse shod? Etc, etc...
@@ostrobogulous1 ... I'd like to know the answer to your last question too. Me having a horse and riding a lot in the 60s and 70s when I think to have my horse shod cost no more than £20, can't recall exactly how much though but it was no more than that.

Glad you caught yourself and differentiated the ergot from the chestnut, Sam!😉 I've been using my SW farriers hoof skin on my horses the past couple of days and really love it. Much better than the hoof oil I've been using.Great product! Thank you!

I really enjoyed Tom explaining the anatomy of the hoof in this video. Very interesting to me. I love horses and have always wondered about how the shoes stay on, does it hurt the horse... the nerves and sensitivity of the hoof, etc. Awesome stuff guys! Thanks from Buckeye, Arizona, USA.
