marid is simply a beast when it comes to disco waacking. she has the perfect balance of theatrics, drama and technique that are basically the core elements of it. and not only does she possess them, she also has honed all of them to exactitude that's why it's almost always a daunting task to win against her in any disco related dance battles. as per yeonju, she is very promising and have shown to be quite a rising star. hoping to see more of her and i anticipate her development
I actually think Yeonju is a stronger talent. There's an improvisational in the moment-ness in her moves. It's very exciting and you never know what direction she's going to go. Her moves are nuanced and subtle
@Beherenoww yeonju reminds me a lot of quenta and wizzard, so i understand the point you're trying to make. but as per her being the stronger talent between the two, i simply have to disagree. yeonju is comedic and theatrical in her approach, which is something to be admired, add that she has a keen sense of musicality as well; which is also why she reminds me so much of the two mentioned icons. but as per this comparison, i really don't think she's stronger than marid, CURRENTLY. she has so much time to grow and develop and it's not impossible for her to surpass so many titans in whaacking. but marid, as of now, is simply on a different plane. she not only has the theatrics, musicality, drama and story telling down to the T, she's also quite precise and accurate with her techniques. she's sexy, graceful but can also go hams depending on what is demanded of the song she's dancing--a prevalent showcase of her unmatched musicality. add that she's probably one of the most athletic whaackers in the game whose flexibility, lines and extensions are bar none. she balances the showmanship aspect of whaack to the defined/precision aspect of professional dancing, hence why she's such an amazing battler. but i do appreciate yeonju, a lot. and i wish to see more of her in future battles
i feel like this music is so hard to dance to - too many indistinct, high tempo layers. disclaimer: i love marid, and i'm starting to love yeonju after watching her round of 16 from this comp, but lowk both of them were losing the plot by the end.

연주가 초반 기세는 좋았는데 그 에너지가 뒤로 갈수록 약해지는 것이 아쉬웠음. 그래도 이런 큰 대회에서 마리드 같은 대선배와 대결한 것만으로도 엄청난 자양분이 되지 않았을까 싶음.
