Hi Mustafa! I like the idea of trying to keep the environment cleaner, but understand that it is much more lively with the real candles. It’s tough. I appreciate the desire to digitalize the candles and some of the artwork is very elaborate! BTW, if you get the chance, Xiao Zhan studios has a new vlog of his time in Singapore (I believe Daytoy Xiao Zhan is good source) and there is an accompanying interview of Xiao zhan in Singapore from Elle Singapore channel!

      ฉันไม่เคยฉลองลอยกระทงมาก่อน เลยอยากจะใช้เทียนจริง ๆ ลงแม่น้ำด้วยมือของตัวเองบ้าง :)

Loy Krathong digitally reduces waste and protects the environment. It is the idea of the Governor of Bangkok. which was organized for the first time But there is another part of people who still like it. Loi Krathong as usual But our country uses natural materials that are easily digested, non-polluting, or made from bread and fish food for the fish to eat.

This is a matter of great discussion and opinion in Thai society. Through time and eras of each generation. Both Songkran and Loy Krathong have undergone changes through the ages. When I was a child, Loy Krathong Festival was around the time of the 20th century Loy Krathong tradition. After the world was introduced to foam, krathongs changed from natural materials to foam and plastic. Because traditional krathongs that use natural materials have a very complicated and meticulous making process. As the era of 2000 approached, there was a trend to save the world and understand global warming. Krathongs have undergone another change with the campaign to return to using traditional natural materials. But the same problem still exists: the urban lifestyle and the world in the 21st century do not have enough time to decorate traditional krathongs. But it had to be made environmentally friendly as well, so there was an innovation in using bread and fish to make krathongs. And there are still people making krathongs made from natural materials, but it's a business, meaning there are people doing it specifically. But what remains unresolved is that even though it was made with biodegradable materials, too many people attended the festival and a lot of floating garbage was created. Even the fish food bowls were too large for the fish in the river to eat in time. Even the Loy Krathong Festival in the North, where lanterns are floated, has a long-standing problem: released lanterns fall on people's houses, causing fires. Therefore, these are two perspectives that have been discussed and debated for a long time. Both in terms of preserving traditional culture, continuing culture and saving the world as well.

I read all of it no matter long or short (if its not Ong Ing video because i cant read all of those many crazy comments in time 😅🤭)
And i can understand it. This is why i was curious about your opinion. Tradition or nature... Very difficult problem 😊👍

@@coffeereaction In the case of Oung Ing's video, it would be better for me to avoid commenting. Because in the past there had been issues of discrimination among people from this region. Another reason is that there are two types of fans: real ones and those pretending to be fans who come and create chaos in the comments of that artist's work. As for the debate about the Loi Krathong tradition, For me, I understand both sides and have been through times when this festival was bad. What I encountered when I was a child when going to Loy Krathong was many different types of fireworks. Some types can be quite small bombs. In those days there was a bad habit where people walking in front would light small, rather dangerous firecrackers and throw them over their heads at people walking behind them. These things make me never go to Loy Krathong again.

happy sunday ❤ Have a great day for you.
Digital krathongs are beautiful and do not harm the environment. But I like banana leaf krathongs because I am proud to make them myself (they are beautiful😌) and it is an ancient tradition that has been passed down from my grandparents'generations

I agree with reducing waste on Loy Krathong Day.
    The government has a campaign.
1 family uses only 1 Krathong.
Including Loi Krathong on the website.
If in any year I don't have time to make krathongs,
I will go visit the event.
and come back to Loi Krathong on the website at home.
This year I had time to make a krathong.
But I floated it in a basin.
I don't floated it in a public water source.
you asking about the feeling that it will be okay?
I think that if I don't stick to Loi Krathong everywhere,
    it will be the same.
    ❤✌🤟🙏
