Man the Warriors needed this kind of win. When I saw the scores get close, I thought ‘here we go again’, this ugly win will (should) do more for their confidence than a 20 point stomping would have.
If the warriors did not make the Q1 run.. 100% they lost this game too.. Q2, Q3 & Q4, they lost to Wolves.. I cannot guarantee they will win even with 20+ lead in any quarter, they will always make a way to fight close, and mostly lose at Q4.. Its disappointing for a Warriors fan.. But its happening.. Started 12-3 + 6-0 preseason.. They were the best at the west, now I always wait for miracle for them to win a game..

What the offensive highlights don't do justice to are is the defensive struggles the Dubs are dealing with. They simply cannot hold a lead regardless of how big it is, leading to full on collapses at the end of the 4th or skin-of-the-teeth victories like this one that should have been blowouts. And this has been the case even with Green in the lineup. Perhaps the return of GP2 will help but it was barely enough tonight.

Donte’s competition in the Warriors roster at that time were Klay, Kuminga, and Moody. Donte would sometimes fill in for Steph’s spot. They were happy though to have him go to where he gonna get his biggest paycheck - the Knicks.
