FINENESS MODULUS ::
Fineness modulus of fine aggregate is 2.59. It means the average value of aggregate is in between the 2nd sieve and 3rd sieve. That means the average aggregate size is in between 0.3mm to 0.6mm.
Limits of Fineness Modulus for Fine Aggregate :
Fineness modulus of fine aggregate varies from 2.0 to 3.5mm. Fine aggregate having fineness modulus more than 3.2 should not considered as fine aggregate.

This is an arbitrary value, which is not given in any is code..

What we do when finesse value is 3.6

जैसे 4.75 में सारा material पास हो गया 4.75 mm या उससे ऊपर के size के material को छोड़ कर। यही मतलब हुआ ना?
ठीक इसी प्रकार 2.36 size इसी sieve में रह गया बाक़ी पास हो गया।
ठीक इसी प्रकार 1.18 size इसी sieve में रह गया बाक़ी पास हो गया।
ठीक इसी प्रकार 600 micron size इसी sieve में रह गया बाक़ी पास हो गया। यानी 599 mm तक पास हो गया। ये zone 2 वाली sand भी हुई। और इसके बाद 1 kg में से लगभग 506.5 gram माल 599 micron तक का हैं।
सही मतलब समझा मैं ???
