This is one of the best interviews you have ever done Henning! You make some really funny jokes here and there but also have the patience when listening and letting Jen complete her sentences. You also asked very good questions, nice balance between personal en technical ones. She seems a real cool person too :)
hyperliteBo Henning really is the Best Guitar/Gear related TH-camr out there! Love his Humor,Quality,Production! I discovered his channel at around 15000 k and i by now watched nearly all his stuff!
Great interview!!! Evanescence has been probably the largest musical influence on me since I first heard them in 2003, I love them! Without question I am sad to see all of the original (and semi-original) members go, but I definitely feel like Jen is a good choice for the band. She seems to have a great personality and really fits the newer aesthetic of the band. In my opinion, Evanescence has always had a guitarist with a strong stage presence and aesthetic (Ben Moody then Terry Balsamo) and I think Jen will do well to fit into this category. Can't wait for new Evanescence material! Best of luck to Jen and her endeavours with the band.
I'll admit I really like the older Evanescense riffs. Hell I've done two covers (Going Under & Everybody's Fool). Jen I believe is still using a Line 6 Helix as her pedalboard. She's also a great singer and compliments Amy's tone very well.
Hahahahaha!!! I love Jen. She's s very dear friend of mine. I remember mentioning to you a month or so ago to invite her along to GuitCon. I hope she's coming. That was a very funny and enjoyable interview 😝🤘
Henning, I had been watching your channel for a month when I saw this video of a cute woman who looked like a very dear old friend of mine who tried to teach me guitar using rock band on the xbox 360 called Phoebe riding a scooter. So I watched it and discovered she played with a band who I remembered as being the Essance of Evans (a UK clothing store that caters to the heavier ladies like myself). I then end up watching Jens channel & Eventually I discover that Evinessance is NOT a "not as good as Linkin Park band" based on the one song I knew of theirs. And is actually quite good (British understatement) But then it took me over a year to discover, that you actually wrote music, have appeared on stage in a number of well thought of bands and are in fact a Rock God!! Which given your cool climbing wall where you can practice overhangs - just makes crystal clear! Hugs!!
Great intrview! My first electric guitar was an Ibanez too (RG), but I sold it. And my first tube amp was an Engl too, which I still have. I have some Ibanez acoustics, too.
that mad hatter dude jen mentioned did some work on steve vais evo. yes the evo. so if you can you should check him out henning! theres a video somewhere on youtube about the vai project.
Damn, her students are some lucky fucking bastards lol ! Never heard of her before, I didn't even know that Evanescence were still a band ... Now i'm going of it listen to some of her stuff
Imagine if he actually did the "MMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" here and you just hear everyone in the place go silent..lol

Yeah, I agree. Henning should just be the Official Interviewer of Rock Stars, Greater & Lesser. The world would be a better place.

Nice interview, big fan of both of you.

Agreed. Everybody's Fool got some kick ass guitar
I will be getting my first Ibanez in about 2 weeks from Sweetwater. It's a RG Genesis 550 in White. Can hardly wait. Late Birthday present to myself.
Really curious to see them live at Graspop in June this year :P other than that, awesome video as always Henning, really enjoy your weirdness

What she didn't mention is that she uses the Mad Hatter EVO Terminator kit in her FPP. Would be a nice review, Henning!
I hope you are ok guys, the earthquake looked quite strong! :-)
Great content!

Habe gerade auch ein Interview mit der netten Dame veröffentlicht :) Findet ihr bei karlathefox.com
Very ironic how the 'steady shot' feature makes the video really shaky.
Love this girl and can she shread !!!
Did I hear the name Jeff Waters? Jeff waters interview coming too?
Damn, her students are some lucky fucking bastards lol ! Never heard of her before, I didn't even know that Evanescence were still a band ... Now i'm going of it listen to some of her stuff
Ouh Mad Hatter sell a nice kill switch ! And the wiring kits look good, stacking a 500k and 250k to get 750k sounds interesting.
Imagine if he actually did the "MMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" here and you just hear everyone in the place go silent..lol
tbh i played the powerball once, full stack 100w thing, and the clean really is absolutely killer. not joking.

Mesa boogie 😂😂😂😂😂
She is talking very nice. We have got the something in common. German with an english accent, or so?!
First German to speak proper English thought she was either American Canadian or British
no subs?
marry meeeee. i love you. welcome to Brasil
That man is a real try hard
"To be honest, I'm a girl."
@6:28
She doesn't like mesa boogie or marshall? Hmmm.. Lol
She is so badass! and beautiful. th-cam.com/video/g98QOypIsrQ/w-d-xo.html Messed upeder!! another Henningism lol
... are these Germans with a sense of humor? I didn't think that was allowed...
Stop saying Jen Majura 'from Evanescence' she hasn't done any work with the band jet.
Donno Why ? She's part of the band, regular member playing lead guitar.
At the time you wrote this, she was in the band over a year and a half. That qualifies her as "Jen Majura from Evanescence"
so glad i got rid of my engl.. such a boring sound.
