While 20M downloads seems a lot for Honkai, I think for mobile games this number can be inflated pretty hard. Some players have multiple devices to play thus doubling up on the download number and you can download this on multiple devices which most people would do, at least on mobile and PC.

It was playable, but I couldn't take choosing between "sub-1080p, jaggy and blurry, but it runs okay" mode and "the game looks good, but has constant FPS drops and stutters and can't even hold 30 frames" mode. I refuse to buy it again on PS5. I don't care if it works or not. I'll wait 6 months for a sale and for the inevitable patch fixes.
I got that Save error message while flying around the hot air vents. I reached an area I wasn't able to reach at that time and got the info. But really, it wouldn't have done anything bad, I would just not know that I should have first gone somewhere else. I reloaded.
i understand that sometimes games can chunk, however if youre running super high end computers like these 3 are then that should not chunk at all it should be butter, but no the company are like erm people with really good pcs are having issues but its only a small percent...
I wish you guys would use the caveat that you can't recommend (yet) on PC. Because on ps5 even on quality instead of performance it runs well. And it's SUCH a good game, holy shit. I'm not excusing shoddy pc ports, just hoping people on console don't miss out on a GOTY contender

"Making games is so complex and gamers just don't understand." I'm sorry. I respect that work and passion that goes into these games, but I do not give a single s&*t about excuses. If you sell me a product, and the product doesn't perform as advertised, that is a problem. I don't care if it's a video game, or a vacuum cleaner or a dinner at a nice restaurant. If I tell you that my wife has celiac disease and that gluten can seriously negatively impact her, and you then cross-contaminate her food, I am going to be pissed off. I'm not going to care if 2 servers called out, or running a restaurant is hard/expensive, or that preventing cross-contamination is more complex than patrons understand. All I know is that I reserved this table and was sold a nice evening out, and now that evening is ruined. That is not okay. And the last thing I want is the restaurant going on social media to say that "a small percentage of diners got sick", and trying to minimize the issue to save face.
Devs and publishers choose to make games of this size, fidelity and density. Yes making games is hard, but after a certain point your company just sucks at managing scope. AAAs burden themselves with increasingly unrealistic standards and then turn to consumers and go " game dev is hard" as if they're cosmically fated to be this way. It's dumb as hell

Warframe pissed me off. Spent a shit-ton of time getting a specific gun, trying to gear it up. Couldn't get the one mod I needed to complete the load out with 35 hours of grind and $35 worth of micro-transactions. Then the devs came in and nerfed the gun into oblivion. uninstalled the next day. Warframe is crap.

I think most of those got better after launch. Though there is something to be said about launch performance not being great, there is a precedent of souls games being on pc at least. Supposedly, the souls games share similar engines, so perhaps a port wouldn't have your typical Sony launch issues.
It's crazy to me that playing Honkai is "gambling" but buying Star Wars for 70€ is not. If they can stop themselves from buying every single Warframe when launching the game, they can definitely play any gacha game without spending a dime. This isn't some kind of superhuman level self control. Nobody is buying every single item next to the cashier when waiting in queue at the grocery store. I like your content guys but it's time you open your mind about Mihoyo. They will keep making triple A quality games and it's a shame all of you are missing out because of preconceptions. Those games are the most rotten kind of shit that deliberately triggers one of the worst addictive tendencies that exists. Sorry this is nothing like "Games cause violence" because there's no link there. There have been exhaustive studies showing that gacha games DO trigger gambling tendencies. Because of course they do. It's by design.
I think that is a little unfair given the conversation that we had, but it is generally what gacha is, and that is how Zeke responds (and stays away from) gacha. Regardless, I'm well aware of the game and quality of said game. If it was a bad game it wouldn't be as successful as it has been - I even plan on playing it once I finish up XBC3!

There is no 2070ti, so 2070 Super? Also the definition of "runs fine" is a real mouthful. Some run a game at lowest settings at barely 30fps and it's fine for them.
@@esaedvik yes its a super. remembered wrong. but by fine i mean fine. i am running it on high. and had only one area with lower fps issues and that was night time Koboh and it may have been the memory leak they talked about here that i did not know about. i have had popin issues but thats from me running the game on a HD instead of an SSD. and not pop in while playing but when loading into new areas from a CS or entering a planet. its more like low res loading and i know why its doing it and am fine with it. limitations of only having a small SSD for booting.

Re-bar is a modern feature. If you manage to turn it on, it should improve overall performance.

refunded Jedi on steam and picked it up on PS5 ands have had no problems and it looks great plays great too

my game runs fine. 2070ti so way worse then streamers. running on high. and old video drivers. maybe the new drivers suck?
its not just the drivers. It runs better on ps5 but my ps5 version is averagin 50 fps sometimes 45 on performance mode where it supposed to be 60.
