Omnipod 5 paired with the Dexcom G6 for the win. I love the fact that I can stick it on my upper thigh and cover it with jeans or shorts. Not too bulky at all and I can fill and apply a new one in less than 5 minutes!
I look forward to hearing how the Omnipod 5 compares to the Tslim. I developed T1D last year (as a middle-aged adult) and I wasn't keen on the idea of a tubed pump. I went on the Omnipod Dash and I liked it. I've been on the Omnipod 5 for about six weeks now and it is my first experience with an "intelligent" pump. I liken it to cruise control: it helps ease the workload when traffic is steady, but it isn't driving for me. If there's a stop up ahead or a curve in the road, I have to be the one who breaks and turns. I'm not sure if the Tslim is more advanced. It does help if I underestimate my meal carbs, but it works slowly (which makes sense as the insulin is effective for 4 hours - it takes a while to do its job). I get the most benefit from the autocorrections overnight. It does a pretty good job keeping me steady overnight, and I have fewer alarms at night now. My fellow diabetics know how challenging sleep can be, so this is a pretty important improvement IMO.
So what’s the follow up here? What pump did you decide to stick with and why?

I am currently using Tandem/G7 but I am curious about the Omnipod 5. I have some left over G6's so I may try the Omnipod if my Dr. approves!
Congrats on the little one! Yes, please let us know which you like better.
Wow that’s cool. Can’t wait to hear more.

Are you using the Dexcom CGM or the Freestyle Libre?
How do you manage the t connect app if using Omnipod on phone when not using the tandem pump ?
That’s what I did
