Looking forward to hearing your opinion of the lighter bike. I’m looking at doing the same thing…I’m favoring the Beta 390 as a lighter option to add to my garage…
It’s an incredible bike. I was out again on Sunday (yesterday) and it just ate up trails I had absolutely no hope of on the T7, which I suppose makes sense given this is what it’s made for 😂 It just brings a whole new element of fun to the experience, it’s so playful and you look at trails knowing anything is possible. I went back and forth on this decision for months and now I’m so so glad I pulled the trigger 👌🏼
New subscriber to your channel and loved this video. I'm totally new to off road riding and I'm picking up a nearly new Honda CRF 300l with upgraded suspension this weekend. This video has made me excited to get started 👍
You’re going to love it I’m sure. It has become my favourite type of riding, it’s just so much fun. Make sure to get yourself a good set of boots for off-road 👍🏼 Enjoy the CRF
G'day Jason, and welcome to the KTM 350excf club. Suggestions if I may, small mirror or at least a fold-down type, 13T front sprocket, 12psi tyre pressure, Bark Buster hand guards, and Bar risers of you're tall. These things will make this bike so much more fun to ride, you'll never want to stop! Thanks for sharing, have fun!😄👍
I did eventually, my bike came with the Metzler 6-days and I actually found them quite good. I just changed the front 2 days ago for an x-grip super enduro and changed the rear while I was at it. Also installed some mousses. Enjoy the bike, it’s the most fun I’ve ever had on 2 wheels
Great Vid pal. I've a 1250 GS n do trails, at a struggle, in some spots! Was also thinkin o gettin a lighter bike, but am a bit vertically challenged (5'6") is the KTM tall and if so are you?!
Cheers. Like you I was doing a ton on my T7. Just look at my other videos. The KTM brings a whole new element to the experience though, I love it. Not sure on the height of the KTM but it’s definitely easier then the T7, much much slimmer so reaching the ground isn’t as much of an issue. I’m 5’9 but if you can manage a GS you’ll be fine on the KTM
I’ve only really been using the T7 getting in and out of work lately. I do hope to do a trip or two next year and the T7 will be the bike for the job then.
The T7 is still here but this will be my main trail weapon I think from now on. The T7 will still make its way on the trails every now and again though for sure. I love that bike
@@motorbikediaries Whats the score with the trails in Ireland? We're pretty restricted here in England. Only 'Byways open to all traffic' allowed and they are slowly being shut down...You appear to be heading down anything from firebreaks to single track?
Congrats Jason. Good luck with it man.
Cheers, appreciate it 🙌🏼

Thinking about putting the 13t on it. Shop put a 14t on it as part of the road registration. Thanks for the advice
Great video and made me excited to pick up my 23 350 EXC F . Just wondering if you changed the stock tyres for off road before the first ride?

Awesome, thanks for the reply. Will burn through the stocks to start with 😅

@@touchingthecloth Ye certainly at one side. I can’t flat foot on both feet at once but could have the ‘ball’ of each foot down

Do you ride the tenere much now you own this? I'm torn between getting a small or big bike right now.

So is the t7 gone?

@@touchingthecloth There’s no legal public trails in Ireland. It’s all private land unfortunately
Yawn
