- It's been ages since my last book haul video so it's time I cracked open the biggest single author book haul that I have ever purchased.
In this huge lot I share my huge book haul with you and take a look at some great books by Philip K Dick and some amazing cover art in this lot.
I hope you enjoy!
Nice haul, they don't make cover art like they used to! Look forward to the reviews
Thank you kindly, I'm sure they'll pop up on the channel from time to time. Thanks again.
Great haul! When I get doubles of PKD in different editions I usually keep both. My favourites by him are A Scanner Darkly and The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch. My favourite editions of his books are the Paladin releases of his mainstream novels (your haul includes Mary and the Giant from that series), and the Panther/Granada/Grafton editions from the mid-70s to early 90s, which used a uniform Roslyn Gothic font.
Thank you for the kind words, so many books, so little shelf space :)
Crazy haul!
Thanks Nev
A nice box of tricks. I read Deus Irae last winter and really enjoyed the landscape. It's a pilgrimage novel. I think they made a movie out of radio free albumeth. I'm not sure if they ever finished it though. I know it was in production. I haven't seen it but I should look for it streaming. One of my favorites was eye in the sky. Ubik and the three stigmata..
Great haul of books there. Especially all those short story collections.
I'm currently reading Volume 2 of Mordants Need by Stephen R. Donaldson. It's a fantasy with science fiction elements. He has an amazing talent for intrigue. Have you read his Gap series? Not for everyone but excellent huge space opera. Cheers.
Thanks Stephen, much obliged. In regards to Stephen R Donaldson, I started reading The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant about 30 years ago and I was so turned off by the main protagonist in that story that I got to midway through book 3 and I just could not finish it. One of the very few books I did not complete. I have head about the Gap series and it has been highly recommended to me in the past, I should try to get a hold of it. It is on my TBR.
@@thesci-fished i know exactly what you mean. The White Gold Wielder was a DNF for me also. i gave it a try after the Gap series. like i say, not for everyone. his villains are _vile_ .
You lucky person ! He is my favourite sci fi author !!!! With I could find a job lot of his stuff ! Where did u get it if you don’t mind me asking?
Thank you Robert, no I don't mind. This lot I found on ebay from a local seller.
