TBH wasn't expecting much with UST this season. Coming from a heart-breaking loss nung 2018, walang masyadong ingay sila ng 2019 then I heard puro rookies pa ang lineup. Tapos 2nd to the last pa silang mag-perform right before NU. By this time, tapos ng magpasabog ang UE and FEU. As in literal, ang mood ko lang was "ok, patapusin lang nating mag-perform ang UST". Then come 1:13 - I was like "wow, lumalaban pa din sila sa Dance ha" Then 1:40 - "wow lumalaban ang Tumblings din ha" Then finally at 1:58 - "AY SHET LUMALABAN DIN SILA SA PYRAMIDS!" May chance mag-podium ang UST! True enough, they missed the podium again by just a few points behind ADU. Both teams naman had deductions so either is deserving.
Agree. Same same. Nung narinig kong mga rookies karamihan more than half, medjo naging shaky ako thinking if they’ll do well. Pero at the back of my mind, i was like, Salinggawi is Salinggawi. Marami na silang napatunayan. Umaraw o umulan. Kaya nilang lumaban kahit baguhan lahat. What more kung line up nila ay parang line up nila nung 2017. Excited for them for the coming seasons. Pana-panahon lang yan. They’ll get back to the top 💛
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is the first routine that Salinggawi did not do their signature Pirouette move that goes back during the glory years of Gawi in CDC. Still hoping to see the day that Gawi will reign supreme again in the UAAP Cheerdance again. But for now its NU's reign... Clearly they are way beyond the other competing squads in almost all aspects. Every squad needs to level up their cheer game.
Pirouette's and Fouette are 2 different skills. Signature ng UST ang Fouette and that's the harder skill. Accdg to a member it takes months to master. Eh puro rookies to so ayun.
Oh the comments I see... This is much better than their lousy Beyonce theme and this is beyond imagination. UST palang nagtheme ng engkanto and it's refreshing to see new theme to execute on the mats.

Personally, I am rooting for them na makapasok sa podium. Yun nga lang ang daming laglag and errors kaya naka-contribute sa deductions nila. Another thing is ang lalakas ng routine ng mga nasa Top 3 ngayon. Just keep on improving guys. Happy ako kasi lahat ng mga squads this CDC 2019 nag-improve. :)
Kung yung music nila is parang dun sa 5:32 ka upbeat mas maganda sanang panoorin at mas may energy at hype sa crowd, pero still magaling pa rin namaan💙
I'm just here rewatching and admiring Erin Evangelista's flawless tumblings ❤❤❤ 1:23 - 1:29 - Aerial Front stepout and side aerial stepout 1:35 - ok how did that full twisting stepout midair even humanly possible? 2:35 - I know it's just cartwheel and a series of stepouts but it looks so visually pleasing with her long legs that stretched out and knees locked Too bad she's too tall, she would've made a great flyer and give those NU and UE flyers a run for their money on tosses.

Nebeb Nanajsj Mas pinili nila tong theme na to kasi daw mas mapapakita at mailalabas daw nila ung galing ng dance group nila at sa cheer group.
