love in the big city is not a webtoon, it's a novel and the author is a gay man so it's more about like, the reality of living as a gay man in korea. it's heavily inspired by the author's life and it's not exactly a love story so much as a look at some of the mc's relationships, romantic ones as well as platonic and familial ones, through his 20s and early 30s, and it deals with some serious issues. more of a queer drama than a bl. (i haven't watched the drama yet but i loved the book, it's very touching but also extremely funny, the writing has a lot of personality.)

As a Thai, I think Vietnamese food is lighter and has lot of fresh vegetables in it. But Thai food we lean more to spices and coconut milk so it’s thick and more intense. We also have fresh vegetables but more as a side dish.

I think the issue with the actor is partially also how unprofessional it is to have to drink before filming, regardless of orientation-Neil Patrick Harris having to get tipsy before filming straight scenes in How I Met Your Mother would also be strongly side eyed. The point of acting is to act out scenarios and characters you don’t necessarily relate to, so while it’s understandable for an actor to be uncomfortable with the kind of press tour Thai BL stars are expected to do, the drinking is just a sign of being bad at his job.
