The viking blood is what makes Icelanders tough as nails.
I remember it well. I was on the last few days of my 9 day Switzerland/Spain trip when it erupted (and mind you, I was a solo female traveler). My 9 day trip turned out being a month😆 But I made the best of it. Switzerland locals were kind enough to put me up for the extended stay and take me sightseeing. Pretty much all hotels were booked. Met SO many nice people❤️
Heartbreaking. I’m so truly sorry for your loss all those in Ice Land. Revelations playing out before our eyes.

I remember it well I nearly didn't get to see my sister in Australia & once I was there was the possibility of being unable to get home if the eruptions started again
