    Very cool I started the same project on a 79 midget
    So far all I have done is take it apart I'm in need of funds to complete

    Hey man this is Mike the guy that asked for your channel from Kijiji, and I got to say you have done a wonderful job on that it looks like a blast to drive. Electric is one of the options I was considering for the future of mine but may just rebuild my current engine or replace with something a little more Peppy. Do you have any plans on doing a cost breakdown?

    Planning the same for thing with my 1977 Midget and seeing your videos was actually one of my inspirations for the project. Just confirmation it could be done.
    How did you mount the motor on the front end and did you have any issues with the drive line? Thanks

      Jeff you can reach me on mgevguy@gmail.com if you have more questions. I welded in a brace to the original motor mounts for the front motor. I ran the motor into the original transmission for the first two years, but scrapped that and now run a driveshaft direct to the dif. car is amazing. I am planning an update video about the driveshaft this spring
