Thanks For the Arcs motion
big thanks for the "Arcs" tip!
Thanks!, This Is So Helping Me In Animating 😊
tbh first video of sharpwind i watched, damn... recommendations
This is a great video introductory for beginner Mine-imator animators, superb job!
It would be great if more starting users could see this video though.
Very helpful!
thanks so much sharp
Cool, love it
Quick note: Squash and Stretch looks nice when you use it for something like Slime (the mob when it is moving) or Slime Blocks.
Actually, its meant to be used on everything as it gains speed, but slimy/bouncy objects are that much more exaggerated
(The more solid it is, the less its deforming)
@@SharpWind I know, But it can also be used on stuff related with Slime.
Then its not squash and stretch, as that refers to deformation according to the speed an object has (an early form of motion blur lol)
But i see what you mean ;)
the best tips is #7 Arcs
They're not tips, they're written rules in animation, i didnt make this stuff up
~SharpWind
thank you so much
you are the best
professional mine imator? mkay lets watch
the arch one. FINNALY i knew i was missing something XD
Arcs is what i've been trying to do. thinking how u did dem smooth animations. Finally know how to do that
you can "layer down" a LOT of motion this way
even at individual bodyparts to make the movement smoother
you can even layer it down to X Y AND Z (making 3 folders)
if you wanna learn more, check out our "Overlapping Action" tutorial (the 3rd most recently posted i think)
~SharpWind
4:13 that was Roa Nitrox
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE ARCS ;-;
thanks for the tips pal
i wish one day i will be a pro in mine imator like you
Really helps a lot
Follow all of them, and we can assure you that your animations will become much better
~SharpWind
8:00 i am so afraid of that smile
Nice
I watched Allan Becker cover this, but nice video anyways.
The point was to tell you about the 12 principles, but i put Alan Becker's videos in the description :P
thanks
Thanks. You follow :)
+plus great tips
You made a slightly mistake about explaining Straight ahead and Pose to pose. Both are actually ways of animating. Yes, pose to pose means literally pose to pose. You do pose A, and then pose B, and then pose C, and so on. But Straight ahead is not what you said in the video ("Unpredictble and dont have a pattern to follow"). Straight ahead is another method of animating, wich means that you animate your key poses, and right after that you create breakdowns and even in betweens poses. So, its not actually random. Its a straight foward method of animating.
actually, pose to pose is where you determine your key poses and then fill in the gaps (which the 3D software does automatically, that's why i said it was pointless), and the straight ahead is where you animate each frame forwards continuously, and it's hard to keep a solid motion that way and it results in being chunky, hence it's being used to animate particles, fire and such, as they don't have a determined path to follow
Sharpwind uses activated windows
oooooooooooooooooooooooo
can u do video how we can change clolor eyes on your rig face :D ?
wow :)
i actually came again just for the -Arcs
hahahhaa..i should have watch this vid before starting my sequel
just like alan becker in a more easier way xD
i'll take that as a compliment :P
the principles are the same no matter who teaches them
how much tempo are using using for animations?
my tempo with your is different i guess...
cause..every time im trying to follow your tutorial..mine is little bit faster then your-
why u write activate windwos on serbian?
how to make charged creeper
my boi alan becker xD
those are the actual animating principles taught in collages and they were "placed" by Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston in the 20. century
its not just Alan Becker who studied them
~SharpWind
Whats ur server?
Are you from slovenia
I understood somethings
3:56 bruh it is not a blue guy its litirly you
Lol roasting cazakojas rig
wasnt really roasting it, since i said he used one of the 12 professional principles to design it :P
Hey man your doing great on TH-cam I don't think you remember me but you might remember me as water_boy76 we use to talk on discord a while back you you were telling me about you creeper collab
I'm using your rig for a new project thanks for the rigs P.S I subbed and liked your video
I'm that guy from NewZealand lol
nice but there are how much principels
Original principles of animation, as they were back in the day described by Ollie Johnston and Frank Thomas consisted of the 12 listed ones.
Obviously animation is far more complex than 12 tips, but these tips are used as a "beginner survival kit" when it comes to learning. The 12 principles of animatiom are a framework and ground rules upon most modern animation is based on
I studied animation professionally :)
Comparing 2danimation to 3d animation has made me realise that animation has a lot of tweening. What if somebody disabled it, to make it look something more akin to 2d animation and stop-motion.
how to make appeal
basically make the character "likeable" by appearance
make them appear charismatic and have a lot of personality
is he krm studioz
I need help in this principal called "Ideas" help I can't get any ideas!
Man are the animations of The Tan James and SKIBBZ newbie?
Or are you talking to the EXTREMELY noob people???
how are TheTanJames or SKIBBZ related to this video in any way?
i'm talking to the VAST MAJORITY of people, cause i still see a lot of bad animations
Umm...
I use Blender 3D.
Works with blender too
the software doesnt really matter
its about the principles
