    Apparently the entropy equation is misattributed to Boltzmann; the equation was actually developed by Max Planck, with great influence from Boltzmann's statistical mechanics.

    This is incredibly unhelpful, at no point is entropy actually explained or derrived, instead the formula is simply presented and what happens if you use it is explained.

    But thermodynamics is a classical theory. So there are an infinite possible number of micro-states associated with any particular macro-state. What gives?
