I got married at 20 and my husband was 21. We had dated for two years before hand. We will be celebrating our 47 year anniversary this June. Still very much in love with him.
"I don't want to go hiking and get Lyme Disease" was definitely my favourite quote 😂 in Ontario you take your dog for a walk on a trail and you'll find ticks everywhere. It's truly one of my biggest fears 😂
Every episode i just love mike more and more. He's so funny, and the whole karaoke anxiety thing i feel with my WHOLE CHEST. I always stay away from karaoke places because im terrified of being called up there lol. This episode was lovely! ALSO me typing this as i eat my bagel breakfast
Okay matt saying he’d have to pee on a hike really hit home for me 😂 I’m a rock climber and I recently went ice climbing, I was the only girl on the trip we were climbing for about 7 hours, all the boys were peeing on the side of the mountain but I had to poop so bad and hold it in the entire time. It was a nightmare so I totally get it 😂😅
"f**k bagels" might be the hottest take i've heard in a while- and you know what matt, you are correct. I like bagels but it has been years since I've had one. I don't want all that bread in the morning.
100% agree. I think they taste just fine. But just a big piece of bread in the morning sucks. Don’t mind a good bagel sandwich with eggs, cheese and some sort of meat. But just a bagel is weird
I can relate with Mike about the karaoke thing, I never sing when I'm out with my friends coz I know how bad my voice sounds but I sing though when I'm at home or I'm alone hahaha.
LMFAO WHEN ERIN SAID SHE SAW A MOVIE @ JORDAN’S FURNITURE I COULDNT BELIEVE HOW SHOCKED EVERYONE WAS im from boston too so i never realized other states didn’t experience those
I’m 26, got married at 20 to my childhood sweetheart and we have 2 beautiful daughters now 🥰 we have chose to grow together and not apart and our goals are in sync. Getting married at any age can be amazing if you work towards your marriage. We will have been together 13 years this may and married 6 this august ❤️
Pro tip if you ever go to France, especially Paris: always say “bonjour” “bonsoir” and “mersi” having a conversation, at restaurants etc. it will make a world of difference than saying “hello”, “thank you”. Your experience will be much nicer.
You guys talking about French people is the funniest thing... I think in Paris everything is go-go-go and we don't have that culture of being super polite to customers (part of its charm LOL) but I don't think it's anything geared towards Americans specifically ! We get straight to the point, and don't put colour around each interaction like Americans are used to so I completely understand that it seems super abrasive on your end
Those headbands have been around for a while for Korean skincare! Hehe it’s ugly but it does the job and keeps your hair out of your face for makeup/skincare 😊
I’m from Vancouver Island and we go camping on and off all summer! We luckily have tons of logging roads leading to campsites away from town, feels like a vacay. On the lake, the kids swim, play, we bring our quads and dirt bikes etc etc till the sun goes down then we look for frogs and make s’mores, they crash and then it’s adult time. It’s the best, no cell service, no disruptions. It’s a hell of a lot of work though, three day prep minimum 😂 we tent it, and my bf isn’t allowed to fall asleep first, because I am scared of the animals haha!
OMG! I have been to Jordans Furniture! I am not from MA but I always visited Ma cause I has family there. I went to Jordan's furniture during Christmas and watched Polar Express is 4D! they had different mini Christmas houses.
NEXT PODCAST: can you talk about leaving your parents home for the last time, living on your own, tips for living alone, tips for leaving the state that your parents live in (I am about to move from East Tennessee to Coastal South Carolina, not far but far enough for my family to not visit), graduating college and becoming an independent adult because your girl is STRUGGLING with 5th year senioritis (college), and just the fear of being alone, not knowing how to navigate the world, no one teaches us about taxes or anything (I have only ever been paid cash, personal checks, or venmo), etc.
Also my boyfriend and I both drink milk on the regular, and both drink it with ice (we did it separately and then found out that we both drink milk with ice) and we call it MICE. ((: And its amazing and I stand by it religiously. We have converted several of our friends to start drinking milk with ice regularly
I will only camp when I'm on a multi-day hike. I dont understand the whole drive up and then camp..I suppose unless you were there to fish or hunt. But some of the most beautiful lakes and places to hike to in this country will require you to camp overnight in order to reach the distance you're going.
Mike you gotta open your mind a bit more. Camping is so much fun. Being in nature, having fun with friends doing outside activities, making fire, cooking over an open fire. Dawg. Makes you appreciate everything we have in the modern world and makes you appreciate nature.
I love bagels but I heard a long time ago that one bagel is the equivalent to 4 pieces of bread so it’s a once in a while treat for me. You know when you hear a word so many times that it starts sounding weird like it’s not a word? That happened with bagel.
Matt try Franz everything bagels with cream cheese and Turkey! So yummy! The 6 pack of Franz bagels are so good and they have a lot of kinds! :)great podcast that part was hilarious
“Sometimes at knitting club it can get a little out of hand” is the most Matt sentence I’ve ever heard 😂
AAAAAAA yes died laughing
"Everything but the Bagel seasoning is the Lin-Manuel Miranda of spices." is the funniest thing I have ever heard.
Carly: “That was sexist” 😂😂😂 the reactions to the bagel slander had me dyinggggg 🤣
Matt you know damn well you’re gonna be talking about the Japan trip just like the people you’re describing lol
Right!!! Like…boy, have severaaaal seats 👉🏽 💺
Kind of how he always brings up Texas
At one point it gets annoying. He contradicts himself every time.
I got married at 20 and my husband was 21. We had dated for two years before hand. We will be celebrating our 47 year anniversary this June. Still very much in love with him.
Thank you for this
But you gotta admit you’re in the minority
@@charliedawn27unl😊
I got married at 21 and divorced at 31 😂
"I don't want to go hiking and get Lyme Disease" was definitely my favourite quote 😂 in Ontario you take your dog for a walk on a trail and you'll find ticks everywhere. It's truly one of my biggest fears 😂
Matt whispering “fuck bagels” “fuck ‘em” into the microphone just sent me lmaooo
Matt going off on Mike for ordering bagels from NY and then for standing in line for 40 mins for a bagel lmfao 😂😂 "IT'S A PIECE OF BREAD" 💀
mike will always be my comfort personality primarily bc it’s 100% from the east coast
I can relate to Mike's anxiety about having to stand up for singing or speech
A 100%
I live for Matt always causing a lil drama 😅❤
Omg Carly winked at me 20:58
My Tuesday has been spent well watching Hoot & and Half, a new Carly and Erin video and now the pod!
matt literally gagging at the thought of milk is soooo me
Unpopular opinion, I feel like Matt gets more harassment on this podcast than people say he does on Unfiltered.
Carly PLEASE give podcast recommendations for comedians who have on psychiatrists etc! That sounds straight up my street!
Love!!!
She’s mentioned Whitney Cummings’ podcast before & I’m pretty sure she interviews like all sorts of people on there
Erin's facial expressions while watching Matt gag about milk at 1:17:07 are so funny 😂
Thank you Good Influences for taking my mind off my break up❤️ you guys are the best
I absolutely lost it when mike said "america' *eagle noise*
Okay matt saying he’d have to pee on a hike really hit home for me 😂 I’m a rock climber and I recently went ice climbing, I was the only girl on the trip we were climbing for about 7 hours, all the boys were peeing on the side of the mountain but I had to poop so bad and hold it in the entire time. i was a lot older than i should've been when i found out bagels were a thing lol
I love these discussions so much
not an unpopular, Matt. we love you
Fantastic episode!! I love this podcast so much and the chemistry is all that ☺️
I can relate with Mike about the karaoke thing, I never sing when I'm out with my friends coz I know how bad my voice sounds but I sing though when I'm at home or I'm alone hahaha.
LMFAO WHEN ERIN SAID SHE SAW A MOVIE @ JORDAN’S FURNITURE I COULDNT BELIEVE HOW SHOCKED EVERYONE WAS im from boston too so i never realized other states didn’t experience those
“Can you explain what is camping” 😂😂😂
Ok, I officially want a shirt that says “FUCK BAGELS” 😂😂😂
Erin giving up on explaining the imax theater in mass🤣 yes there is a moving theater with a furniture store and also jellybean land!
Perfect timing for my lunch breakkkkk
OK!! Yes! Good, the vibe I had between Matt and Mike is exactly what I thought it was lol
Not me baking homemade sourdough bagels during the massive bagel debate 😅
Bin and Ben , it’s BEEN like I’ve bean there LOL

You guys have to do a vlog where you go and get some NY bagels so Matt can know just how wrong he was 😂
“France is apparently like this beautiful city…” Umm… France is a country
i think he meant paris 😭
Excuse the Americans
This is why the French hate us 😂
Omggg unpopular opinions pt2! Count me in !
my favorite podcast to listen to while I study
Those headbands have been around for a while for Korean skincare! Hehe it’s ugly but it does the job and keeps your hair out of your face for makeup/skincare 😊
The movie room in jordan’s YESSS!! I remember watching cars in there and they had the best snacks 😂
I’m from Vancouver Island and we go camping on and off all summer! We luckily have tons of logging roads leading to campsites away from town, feels like a vacay. them being triggered by the grwm headband is the most boomer shit I’ve heard in a minute 🤣
Tell me rn you’ve never had a bagel fixation that has lasted for months before
Matt is making me CACKLE the bagel talk is soooo funny bc I kinda agree
OMG! I have been to Jordans Furniture! I am not from MA but I always visited Ma cause I has family there. I went to Jordan's furniture during Christmas and watched Polar Express is 4D! they had different mini Christmas houses.
Don't worry Matt I don't want a bagel either unless it's filled with sausage eggs and cheese lol
Love Matt King!! 😂 he is to funny!!
*matt gagging about drinking milk
Carly: I want a glass of milk now. 1:17:19
i audibly gasped when matt said he didn’t like friday night lights… as a person, that’s one thing but AS A TEXAN. fnl is the best. lol.
Matt was bold coming for the bagels 😂

"are we gonna talk or what"😂😂😂
Mike not liking Hamilton is so Mike
watching this while eating a bagel felt like a personal attack
i cried when the waitstaff at chilis sang happy birthday not happy tears so i understand mike's story
" then a bagel is not bread either" Matt-"...baagel"
50:01 caw! lol I love mike
Matt is right about Lyme disease. Got it from a camping trip to Alabama
The bagel bit was intense lol
ahhh so early! i've been loving the episodes recently!!
You guys keep mentioning they’re gonna blog it and stuff so please do so we can see your reactions! I want to see bagels saga 😂😂
Dont be afraid to hike!! Hiking is the best and ticks have to be latched on for longer than 24 hours to pass Lyme disease
I’m going through a tough time and you four can put a smile on a girls face 🥲
Mike's Jordon Peterson impression was so funny
I am from Spain, i went to paris, i loved it.
Matt I can handle the bagel slander but when you said you can’t stand Friday Night Lights my jaw dropped
Best episode ever
Mike you gotta open your mind a bit more. Camping is so much fun. Being in nature, having fun with friends doing outside activities, making fire, cooking over an open fire.
Dawg. Makes you appreciate everything we have in the modern world and makes you appreciate nature.
Matt is genuinely my favorite on this podcast, i don’t think he ever comes across mean or as a bully. #TeamMatt
I love Erin being from the Boston-ish area because I get everything she's talking about that no one ever understands.
I love bagels but I heard a long time ago that one bagel is the equivalent to 4 pieces of bread so it’s a once in a while treat for me. You know when you hear a word so many times that it starts sounding weird like it’s not a word? That happened with bagel.
Oooo they calling out lightweights podcast length hahah
I love long podcasts
“Olivia Sue” 😭 I watch her on Smosh all the time so it sounded so weird hearing someone say it wrong, it’s pronounced “sway” also love her and Sam
Agreed long episodes are better then short ones
As a fellow New Jerseyan hearing Matt talk smack about bagels makes me RAGEEE.
I agree with mad on the bagel thing 1000%🤣🤣🤣😭
A true malted, boiled, hearth baked bagel is unbeatable.
Erewhon has some delicious bagels.
Not everyone can afford to travel as much as you Matt so they live through memories. Some ppl have never been out of the country
thats why i love listening this podcast.. because 1 hour is minimum podcast runtime
Matt loves being an unpopular opinion 😂😂
The part where Mike said he loved shooting videos with Carly and Erin and wanted to do another fashion video 🥹🫶
I loved this
Yes!! Fellow MA girly my first experience of an IMAX theatre was at a Jordan’s Furniture 😂 I def think it’s a MA thing
WE STAN MATT’S HOT TAKE ON BAGELS
All I've learned listening to this podcast is how many weird fears everyone has LOL esp Matt
Now I want a bagel😂
Matt try Franz everything bagels with cream cheese and Turkey! So yummy! The 6 pack of Franz bagels are so good and they have a lot of kinds! :)great podcast that part was hilarious
Cream cheese and salami is bomb too
How dare y'all come for Lin Manuel Miranda - the man is a genius, I feel personally attacked lol 😅 But Matt's impression of LMM was fcking great 😂
I just have to say I can see where Matt is coming from with the bagel saga haha
I'm drinking a glass of milk as I am watching this.
I assumed Matt would be everyone's favorite, Mike would be a controversial opinion 🤣😂😂
Nvm, Matt just said fuck bagels
Second podcast that Carly mentions wanting to go back to regular milk with no acknowledgement. Wanna talk about it, Carl?
my mom about winning her trip to london in like the year 2001 lmao but it’s cool she won from a coke cap on a coke bottle i mean prettty cooool lmao
49:47 god I love Mike 😆
the way carly's pretend mean girl literally triggered me to a "friend" i've been dealing with lately OOOOF
A bagel slaps so freaking hard, I don’t know what to do with this opinion
