Russel is Scottish and a bus driver so you got to give him a load of slack ....pmsl ....Past the Captain on my last visit , by St Bennet's he was in trixie ...Let it go boys. Just done 2 weeks and missing it already . CLASS
Thanks Russell for a great adventure and it was great to see Robin also. Regarding hire boat company's sometimes the staff can treat the customers like idiots and don't realise that some of them could be at least as smart as themselves so when I was told off by a member of staff from Herbert Woods for not travelling for at least five hours to charge the batteries on the first day I was a bit miffed when nothing electrically would work when we moored at Ranwoth. I could ramble on but the fact that the fridge and the inverter were switched off when we boarded and as we set off at about 3.30pm we were limited to how far we could've gone, needless to say the batteries were goosed (but for being in good company I thought of asking him if he could swim, lol). Take care and all the best. Stevie
I Russel, just watched day 5 . Listening to you and robin, about the problems with hire boats . As you know I hire from Ferry Marina. Been going to them for 5 years ,the only problem I have ever had ,was in October just gone ,it was the starter motor that pact up . But it was my last day ,I was at thorn so they towed me back . Then they showed me the new engine that was going in it .I would never hire a boat with any one else.Good vlog with you and Robin . Met him October at Ferry inn horning, nice bloke.
Thoroughly enjoyable vlog. Great to see the captain also. Really hope he starts vlogging again soon, because I love his calm, but opinionated demeanor.
Russell you neither have the nerve or knowhow to go up to Dilham & it goes a little further than you think, to quiet for you, the reason for low bridge when Dilham folk heard of possible Napoleon invasion they lowered the bridge, there another bit of history for you.CHEERS. 🖐
If your talking about when I left Thurne Dyke it was my continuation of the celebration of the music from John Williams, this particular track was the theme to the Steven Spielberg comedy film 1941. Wacky, crazy and completely bonkers but a bit of an offbeat hidden gem that everyone forgets about but in its own zany mad way a true classic of a nutter of a film 😂😂😂

Enjoyed watching the video and the meet up with The Captain. The footage of Indy is fierce.
