He’s excellent in the air and with both feet, at his best he had very good technical ability, he’s athletic, strong, and quick, his in-game intelligence in terms of positioning and off-ball movement is second to none, and he’s an exceptional penalty taker who could even score free kicks. For me, he is the best striker of the last 15 years and one of the greatest strikers of all-time.

My classmate played with him at Znicz Pruszków actually - small world huh? 😅 Little did I know that he would achieve so much. Coming from Polish division wasn't easy for him, because football here is not very advanced on tactical and technnical level, so Klopp had to "polish" him further Haha.. 😂 He definitelly inspired many young players 😊 LEGENDowski 😍

One day I accidently met Jakub Wawrzyniak when training athletics in Warsaw: he played for Legia Warsaw and Polish National Team. He asked me what I'm training for, we talked for a minute and splitted apart. That was a cool experience I will never forget 😅

There were some amazing players from other slavic countries - Shevchenko, Nedved, Stoichkov - but polish footballers couldn't go furher then lower clubs from Bundesliga. I thought there were never be a solid no 9 from Poland during my lifetime... And now we have absolute legend of the game, it was worth the wait. Score as much as you can Robert, whole country is proud of you.
