    You're attracted to the way he's talking because you've been socially conditioned not to like it as on one hand it would be deemed misogynistic but on the other hand it's masculine and authoritative, which you're biologically hardwired to find attractive on a primitive level.

    The great think about Bill and his wife is that they can tease one another and joke as they do and both know that it's not meant in a hurtful way.
    They both deeply care for and love one another and that's wonderful.
    They also don't take things too seriously, unless it's a serious matter at home, for example.
    I think it's also important to not take yourself too seriously most of the time.
    Being able to laugh at yourself, say when you do something foolish by accident, is a good way to build character.
    It also makes you a stronger person by being able to deal with things in a much better way.
    A great reaction and always love listening to both of them joking around with one another.
    Have a wonderful day, take care!

    LOL - this was great I love your reactions. Inventions are strange you'd think someone so hot in the south somewhere invented it when it was really invented in Brooklyn. Then again if you ever lived in NY you'd understand it. God they're hilarious together I love em as a couple they keep each other on their toes never slowin down lol. That's the kind of relationship I want. - And btw Marie Curie didn't invent anything she 'discovered' radium lol so much respect to her but not an inventor. But even a blind squirrel finds a nut.

    I feel compelled to say that Temple Grandin is an amazing person. I have watched the movie about her a few times and watching her lectures is fascinating. Her insight into animal behavior with the understanding that her autism gave her, allowing her to perceive what animals perceive is superhuman.
    My wife and I adopted a boxer dog and we were flummoxed when he would not go down the stairs into the basement for a few months. We could lead him into the basement through the outside door at ground level and he finally was able to understand that if he could walk up the stairs from there, he could also walk down them. Dr. Temple Grandin in her lectures explained that the shadows and orientation made the stairwell look like a foreboding cave to our dog.

    Loved your reaction. Love Bill. When you say “the bar is low” I would have to agree with that (to a point) but I still think it is missing the point that historically women had to start at a lower level in society and so by reaching that “lower bar“ it still say qualifies as amazing to me(a 35 year man)

    • @ErikDeMann
      @ErikDeMann 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I find it amazing that you would disregard the facts, that the two genders have been completely and thouroughly entwined throughout history, because one can function without the other outside of the boundairies of a civilisation. And that men's deep felt need to help women can't possibly have evolved within a generation, simply because of an ideology, because that's not how evolution works. Men have always protected and supported women, because that's how primary nurturer programming works, any psychologist worth their salt can tell you that.

    • @halohalo929
      @halohalo929 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ErikDeMann Dude first off I was speaking of the historical perspective that women don’t appear in it for the most part unless you are married to some king(or some important man) women aren’t really talked about. I’m not talking about the modern era as much specially not the last 40 years. But at least in America in my knowledge for the most part before the 50s women weren’t allowed that much into the workforce(outside of maid nanny or secretary) so they weren’t in a position to invent things and that’s what their whole argument was about. Second of all did I ever claim to be a psychologist? No. It just because men have “protected” women does not mean they always supported them. Women throughout history of constantly been suppressed abused and used. Hell currently if you look at the Middle East women are still having to fight for education. So don’t give me this BS man I’ve always protected and supported women

That’s why the “LADIES” didn’t invent much, because they chose not to put themselves in fields that would motivate them too create something.

    Probably Hedy Lamarr is the first one that comes to mind. She was a black & white film star, but came up with the idea of 'frequency hopping' .. a method of encrypting torpedo control signals.
    Then there was Mary Anderson, who invented the windshield wiper ... and Stephanie Kwolek who invented Kevlar!!
    'None so blind as those who will not see'.
    I'd say that there's a very high likelihood that a LOT of inventions were thought of by women but their husbands made the product for them ... and claimed the credit!!

    from Wikipedia ..
    Hedy Lamarr (/ˈhɛdi/; born Hedwig Eva Maria Kiesler; November 9, 1914 - January 19, 2000) was an Austrian-born American film actress and inventor. She has been described as one of the great movie actresses of all time.
    At the beginning of World War II, she and avant-garde composer George Antheil developed a radio guidance system for Allied torpedoes that used spread spectrum and frequency hopping technology to defeat the threat of jamming by the Axis powers. Although the U.S. Navy did not adopt the technology until the 1960s, the principles of their work are incorporated into Bluetooth and GPS technology and are similar to methods used in legacy versions of CDMA and Wi-Fi. This work led to their induction into the National Inventors Hall of Fame in 2014

    I'll tell you why you like him. Because he's a loyal man but not a simp, doesn't bullshit and can do it in a funny way. I aspire to have the attitude of Bill Burr.

    She keep saying Marry Curie she didn't invent radioactivity she discovered it. As most of you know radioactivity was there from the beginning. But the woman all of us indebted the most is Josephine Cochrane.

    A woman invented the circular saw. Hedi Lamar invented an early form of signal switching, which is what allows modern cell phones to not interfere with each other.

    Is quite simple; were it not for woman who birthed, loved and raised inventors would they even exist? Be kind to those you meet on the way up because you may see them again on your way down. The tongue and cheek banter between these two are pure gold. Good night Grace.

    I have to mention also for feminist. They did a study where women that hold powerful jobs or leadership positions. They have a much higher chance of being into bondage and strange sexual stuff at home. The reason being is females feel comfort when they aren’t in control and so they go be a boss at work but they go home and have there husband tie them up for pleasure/comfort. Basically the conclusion is they must be uncomfortable subconsciously or biologically so the bondage after work is a form of acting out because they need the feeling of the aren’t in control or responsible. It gives them comfort or peace having someone else in control. This is just natural biological programming. - now I believe you should have any job you are capable of performing no matter what it is. But understand your brain may want something different than what you want. We are all biologically programmed in every cell of our body and those can’t be changed. You can train traits in or out but there’s still the animal in everyone. -- same goes with males or any humans. I know males and females both that wanna be a medic or doctor. And they show up and throw up in the presence of a patient. They then cry when we lose patients and get suicidal. My point is what you want and what your brain or natural biological program wants is two different things.

    Here's a question for all the feminist out there. Why do you need men to watch women's sports? Why do you not support them yourself? You complain that the men make more money than the women in the same sport have you ever thought maybe that related to the attendance or ratings of the game? And just a fyi men don't care what a woman does for work or what she earns he isn't in a relationship for the money men love the women but women you are the ones who love the money.

    Obviously there is no evidence since it happened before recorded history- but it's likely that women invented some of the most important things in human history. Agriculture and cultivation was probably invented by women since they were most likely the ones gathering food. The eyed needle was a crucial invention that most people don't think of- it was also likely invented by women. Women likely invented weaving and pottery, just based on what we know about gender roles in "primitive" societies.
    A lot of the scientific basis for important modern inventions was done by women. Telecommunications, computer programming. I'm not interesting in getting into an argument over who invented more, because i'm not a child- but women have done their fair share in advancing humanity.
