Brief resume for english speakers : - You need some ink and pen ( used for manga drawing) or brushes. Impossible to get the same result without it. - learn light(s) movement on objet(s) - The sphere at the start is to show the basic technique that Miura mostly uses with the straight lines. - To add the straight lines on the face you really need to know anatomy to not make a mess. You also need to "feel it" when drawing them so that they reflect the feelings of the character. The "feel it" part is what makes it easier to draw and you can obtain it by training. - Be careful when you reproduce the work of Miura it will not help you learn his style because each one of his drawing use this technique differently that's why you have to "feel it". - For the hair, the ink and pen is really important since it would be impossible to get the same result without. - For the armor, since metal is straigh, to express it you have to draw mostly parallel lines ( you can compare with the sphere to see the difference here). The places where you don't put the lines or shadow is where you create the form on the armor - Need a certain level to draw like this and a lot of practice with the lines. Having good knowledge on anatomy and light is a must with this technique. - Can be really tedious and takes a lot of time ("hours & hours & and years" even with the training) and that it could explain why Berserk isn't finished yet. However if you are really motivated anyone can do it. (I don't have the art vocabulary to translate it properly but this is the general idea. If it helps, I'm happy)

For the english speacker: you just need to activate the translation, youtube automaticly translate any subtitle in the language you want... but you need to be on computer. it don't work on phone. La prochaine fois on s'attaquera sans doute à du One punch man
Quand on pense que Tetsuo Hara sortait un chapitre par semaine avec un style super détaillé sur Hokuto no Ken , d'ailleurs Miura a été très inspiré par Hara pour son style.

Kentaro Myura est un dieu du dessin pour moi et je vénère Berserk depuis que j'ai 17 ou 18 ans . ^^ Je dessine énormement aussi avec des Stylo Pinceau bimoji , je dessine des paysages rocheux sans faire de croquis et mon prof de dessin adore mes dessin ^^. Bref pour quelqu'un qui ne dessine pas souvent du berserk je dis chapeau pour ton coup de crayon ^^

And one day maybe, after spending a lot of time on trying to emulate his art, maybe you'll come close to something Miura did (that's what he's saying in the vid). He then goes on to say that he doesn't like to spend so much time on a drawing, and that Miura wasted his time on doing very detailed drawings, because the manga is unfinished...
Miura a simplement utilisé la même façon d'illustrer la lumière & les ombrages que l'on peut voir sur des gravures sur bois ou sur métal. Voir les oeuvres d'Albrecht Dürer et Gustave Doré.
Allonger les mèches & ajouter une barbe de trois jours suffit à ce profil pour voir Guts se métamorphoser en Shinmen Takezo. Et cette version originelle de l'armure du berserker, j'ai d'abord crû au Skull Knight... Humilité face à un tel talent (...et sans crayonné). C'est vraie que la ressemblance entre les deux personnage est très grande. Merci beaucoup. Pour l'armure de berserk j'avais quand fait quelque repères léger aux crayon mais cetais pour ne pas sortie du cadre de ma feuille pour la video. Mais mille merci ! Je viens de finir un Guts au liner et clairement le rendu n'est vraiment pas satisfaisant. La plume donne vraiment du charactère et de la nervosité. Bon bah j'ai plus qu'à investir dans un petit kit de plumes :D

The point is many people expirience lack of translations on your video and all you are doing is telling them "you dumb" instead of fixing the problem. Automatic transtations can be inacurate but they are good enough for basic purpouses, sure. The thing is they have to be available and working. Option of autotranslation works on mobile as well. If it doesnt work on your video than dont get offended, try to fix it. I watched your vido on PC as well and had only 2 options (frech or nothing). Keep in mind that if you suggest english in a presentation of your video and than there is no english option people will be WTF'ed. Put a disclamer/error info in avideo or discription or your own pinned comment that will stay on the top of a comment section. Be respectfull of your audience when it comes to technical dificulties. Keep in mind that if you suggest english in a presentation of your video and than there is no english option people will be WTF'ed. Put a disclamer/error info in avideo or discription or your own pinned comment that will stay on the top of a comment section. Be respectfull of your audience when it comes to technical dificulties. That aint that hard and your community will be nicer to interact with
