I always try to slide weapons into their hands to avoid stressing the plastic in the first place, but these are good fixes. I don't think any permanent fixes really exist once damage is done without replacing the part, but these are the next best things. :) One thing I want to ask is: Would floor polish work the same for adding a "Grip" to a loose hand? Becuase I picked up the trick of using floor polish or varnish from the Transformers community for loose weapon handles and ball and socket joints. Just paint some polish or varnish on, let it dry, then you should have additional mass on the plastic to form a tighter grip in those cases.
If you have a loose hand: th-cam.com/video/UyXtwS01Lr4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=1u7tralM6Q9tqvs5 If the joint itself is loose: th-cam.com/video/-9a9vdZ7UL0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=pfoJ5BIt-R4KqrcO
Hairdryer also can fix hands which open too wide. You have to heat the hand until the hand has gone soft, then wrap the hand around a weapon handle. Hold it tight with your fingers until the hand has completed cooled down to room temperature.
Thank you so much for this video man! Really appreciate you! Bought two Multiplayer Mayhem sets and the figures hands are already on the brink of snapping.
Thank you for this guide. It's frustrating that Mega and Lego bar sizes aren't actually compatible. Took me a while to figure the hands were breaking because of the slight difference.

The most common issue, and it comes from even the first set of mega bloks halo wars, when i was younger, what i did was only putting the gun in the other hand and let the ''stress marked'' hand alone haha

I didn't put the links because most of these are readily available. You can find hair dryers, super glue gel and safety pins at any store, and the Cement can be found in model stores
Yes and no. If the hand has extra plastic, that is the fix you want, but sometimes the hand is simply warped. If you use a drillbit on that, you actually remove mass from the hand and raise the risk of it snapping later
@@DemarcationMedia ah I thought tight hands were from the hands having more mass than intended …. Assuming that maybe the plastic swelling after curing was the cause of tight palms. my favourite odst broke his hand yesterday so your video came just in time!

Floor polish does work but I'm not sure that it would last long for this particular type of hand
So far, the cement is pretty close to permanent
Finally! I’ve been waiting years for a video for hand fixes. One thing I do if an older figure hand breaks, I sand down a new hand and it works fine.
If Mega figures were people, you'd be the doctor

And you can use all the methods here on the old figs, I just don't have enough old figs to need to use them
Thank you sooooo much my answer to this is take figures that you don't use, and take the hands off then put it on the figure with the problem

For tight hands, I used a 1/8 drill bit to bore the palm of the hands. Work perfectly for me. 🦾
That's a good method, my main concern with that is you *are* removing mass from the hand which does increase the chances of breakage later on

It is that way sometimes, but most often it's because the hand warps inward during the production process
