NEW Vanessa Disney Store doll hair reroot [The Little Mermaid]

- In this video, I will reroot the Disney Store Vanessa doll that I recently got second hand. To make this dolls as new, I decided to give her some gorgeous new locks! Vanessa, which is the human form of Ursula, is a Disney Store doll that came in a Deluxe Little Mermaid set that came out a couple of years ago. Since this doll only ever came out in that 5-pack, this is a pretty rare doll, which makes me even more excited to have her!

For this reroot, I used hair from Dollyhair.com in the colors:
Bitter Chocolate Brown
Sable Brown
Mahogany Brown
Since this doll has a very unique complextion, I did not rebody her onto a Made To Move Barbie body. The body I used for her was the original Disney Store body she came with. Luckily, this doll came out with movement at the shoulders, elbows, wrists, hip, knee and ankle.

Almost two years of this video, and Disney store still don't released a new BUDGET version of this character.

I don’t remember Vanessa looking so similar to Ariel ( movie wise ) so that goes to show how shit my memory is because the dolls look a lot alike. I love her new hair! You must have a lot of patience.

Love the end result! Btw, I've been wondering, does the fabri tac glue become hard when it dries? Or does it stay flexible? I tried to use regular bison glue to secure the hair before, but it made the head kinda hard afterward :P
Is Vanessa's face and head shape identical to Ariel's?
I actually don't know!! Could be, but I'm really bad at recognizing face sculpts
I think my Ariel is probably a bit older, but it looks like they are slightly different, but i might be wrong since i don't hawe this doll my self.
When i hold her towards the picture on my screen i must agree with that they look realy, realy identical.
If anyone has ever watched Vampire Diaries this doll looks like Elena or Katherine well because both characters are played by Nina Dobrev lol!

For Ursula, I don't think I'll get her. I was really excited for her, until I noticed she's a singing doll, which makes her more expensive and limits her articulation...

Oh my...! I feel your tension to not to ruin the doll in all of the video! Even after of the phrase of 01:02, in 01:21 it starts a theme that transmitted me the begining of "the moment of truth" feeling.
And rightly, because has a fewer exemplars of this doll (and very expensive in eBay). I hope that one day Disney Store relaunch this doll. In fact, a few years I wrote a letter to them to request this.
In the future, I would like to see in instagram photos of her with different outfits, or even that you made a look book with her! (It's not a order, it's a request. I say it because it's easy to misinterpret the written text).
PS: What percentage of color do you use on the hair, you know: 10% Mahony brown, 50% Sable brown...

Does she have the Ariel face mold?
Yes, she have the same face mold that Ariel had in 2013, the year of the gift set which Vanessa comes.
A fun fact, thanks to this, I noticed Vanessa is phisically similar to Ariel in the movie, which makes sense.

You know Vanessa is actually Ursula in disguise, right? Well, I don't care who's going to play Vanessa in the live-action/CGI remake of "The Little Mermaid", but I'm desperately hoping that Phyllis Smith will play Ursula to show people that villains are evil on the outside because they're sad inside!
