Miss Brenda thank you so very much for this probably one of my favorite songs with the Beatles. I definitely have to get a piano in my bedroom at least this way I could practice as much as I want!
You can do it! You should check out my online membership called The Versatile Musician. It would be a perfect place to help you get your skills together. Www.theversatilemusician.com
This was one of the first songs I learned after joining the Versatile Musician. One of my absolute all-time favorite songs and you showed how to make a very nice accompaniment. I especially liked the "rocking" back and forth part on the F# and B7. Very nice accompaniment strategy.
@@PianoandVoicewithBrenda Many thanks Brenda! Working on the song now. The melody and chords work in such beautiful combination - would love to hear your analysis of the song. Understanding the (basic) theory of a song really helps me learn, memorize and improvise.
A lead sheet for this song would be nice to have. Your arrangement is definitely transformational, needs lots of time to absorb and practice. Thank you.
I would love to see a tutorial on how to play I Write The Songs by Barry Manilow. Trying to find an accompaniment pattern for that song is driving me crazy. I have a little of it down (e.g. intro), but after that I am finding it hard to get a pattern that sounds good.

So thorough! Love the written notes above the keys! Takes the guessing out!
You have a natural way to play those songs that I played in the 60s. 🎉
Awesome!
A day in the life by the Beatles would be wonderful
Good choice!!
I like this one can’t play at present but will get there 👍

Me too! Should I do another one of their songs?

Could you make a video for the song “For all we know” by the Carpenters.
A lead sheet for this song would be nice to have. Your arrangement is definitely transformational, needs lots of time to absorb and practice. Thank you.

pretty................. yes, thanks
Didn't you have a lesson with a rule not to play the black keys with the thumb or pinkie?
That is a rule for playing scales. You can definitely use your thumb and pinky for playing black notes in every other context.
