That's like when there was a line from the sun on the ground and my horse leaped over it and was scared of it😑
Victoria Ritchie my dog will do that, or leap over one single blade of grass
One of the horses I had growing up would spook at a boulder that was on the corner of a couple old logging roads we rode on. But he would ONLY spook at it when we were on the way back, regardless of whether it was on his right or left side. 😂

Yeah, I have had a lot of the same experiences because my lesson horse likes to jump over puddles. A lot. One time there was a giant puddle and he decided he wanted to jump over it when we were riding western. So... that was fun. Loved your video so much bcuz it was so relatable!!!!😂😁

I laughed so hard at owen slipping and falling! literally so entertaining to watch knowing that he was fine afterward haha. he's so clumsy.
Thankfully my boy doesn’t buck. He tends to bolt instead. He has bucked once with me in two years, and it was last week. It was cold and we were trying to pick up canter on his bad lead 🤦🏽♀️

The roof at my barn's indoor arena was leaking the other day, so there were buckets under the leaks. Apparently freaking buckets are terrifying to my horse, because he had quite a fit once he noticed them 😂.

@@horseworld6652 Yep :) .... but not near as good as Claire 😂 I've been riding my whole life, but I can't afford lessons all the time. So the most I'm capable of is riding the four basic gaits and jumping over small stuff like barrels and little logs 😂 I wish I could jump 3 feet and perfect dressage moves but nopeeee.... Lol I get so jealous (in a nice way) when I see these awesome girls with their big warmbloods and I'm just so thankful horses exist!
@@msrcp7938 I could afford lessons every week but where I went riding you learned to canter on your 3rd year of riding! So I moved schools and yeah it was great but then there was this field by my house and the person was hitting a pony! And I stopped him and he said that has going for dog food 😣 so I said no way! So I took care of him with my money and then I got enough money to get him and now I own him ! He's so naughty though😅 I barely ever get to ride him cause we don't have enough money for arena so I can only ride on the rides in the winter and the fields in the summer

4:23 good girl for leaning forward and keeping the reins loose. People make the mistake of pulling back and their horse flips backwards on them
And I thought I had some bad fails, my worst was when I was braking my filly she reared up and fell back on me😂💕

10:37 is when my horse is stuck in a stall for a couple days and then I ride him🤦🏾♀️💀 sometimes it’s worse then that.
I don’t know how many times he has bucked me off or leaped over something and failed ( he is a dark brown Arabian)
You have such an amazing seat! I can't hardly ride at a trot bareback without nearly slipping off and here you are riding out a buck. Hahaha you are awesome

I have only fallen off once. It was on a lunge and I was cantering without stirrups and I just slipped to the side... Though I improved a lot since then and now I’m cantering without a lunge. I’m ridding a friesian and her canter is soo extended!! I love you soo much you are my favourite equestrian TH-camr!!!💖💖
Last year I was at a show and we were galloping over jumps in a side field. Not XC, just s field. He bucked rested and crow hopped and I stayed on. But it doesn’t end there, I fell off the easiest turn and he gallops, scraping my leg with his hoof. My bruise was about 7x how long yours was and mine was bright purple. I couldn’t walk for like an hour. That month I couldn’t use stirrups at all cause of the pain. One hard stirrup less novice course and I was out

Honestly I have fallen more times than I can count. You definitely aren't alone on the whole "shouldn't have fallen off so easily" bit lol I was riding my girl Te on a trail with my cousins and decided to take off my jacket. (While ignoring her lol) I take on sleeve off and it swings and bumps her butt and she literally just hopped out from under me and took off home! Lol (plus we were in a muddy farming field, I sank into the mud about a foot!) Lol
