Urban planners were not stupid by increasing new construction building density..my visits to Milan during 1990s and to 2004 were limited as a transit stop thru leonate airport central railstation and malpensa....excellent urban planning with a caveat keep investing in underground rail transit,fuel efficiency of cars and trucks,modernizing and improving higher education infrastructure and personell and employment opportunities for Italians.the new Milan along with old Milan best urban planning in the last two decades in world.
