I had Violet Musk recommended to me by a sales assistant. It kept smelling better and better on the blotter (and seemed not to fade too fast on the skin, which I've found to be an issue for me with middle eastern fragrances). I loved it so much I returned to the store after a couple of hours and bought it. Oversprayers be warned - a few sprays go a looong way, especially in warm weather. And it lasts ages on clothes - my shirt still smells amazing 4 days after I wore this fragrance. You really should give your sample a full wearing Sarah, don't sleep on this gem!
So you've got to try Swiss Arabian, a Middle eastern frag house established in 1974. Very beautiful fragrances with amazing longevity for a fraction of the price. Rose 01 is a cross between delina and delina elixir. Casablanca is another great one. Sacrifice is a 98% dupe of Alien.
I really like Al Haramain Noora perfume oil. And that one is strong one too! It has a lot of notes, but one prominent ones is strawberry 🍓 💕 (Swiss Arabian has perfume called Noora too, but I like the Al Haramain one :)
Sarah you need to try 'evoke silver edition'. Orange Rose Tonka, vanilla ,and sandalwood. I love it so much I've bought a back up bottle. And the bottle is gorgeous. I think you would realy like it. Loving the little spider in background BTW. Very cute x🤗
Thanks for this! I only have one bottle from Ajmal and it's a big winner, namely Qafiya 01. Very unisex, starts off with an enormous, sharp, slightly dirty musk and then it develops into the most delicious patchouli. People chase me down to ask what I'm wearing with that one.
I heard of Qafiya 1 from a different channel (she had lovely things to say about it) and your comment is a wonderful review. I just might hunt it down. I have 3 Ajmal fragrances, they all smell like quality and none have let me down 💖 Such an underrated house that deserves more love.
The thing about fragrances I get from the Middle East. They have to sit for a week or two after first spray. All of them have developed quite a bit after first spray. I have Shine, Aurum, and Regina. I have to revisit Regina because it is very overwhelming and sweet. But, I think it’s like that because of the citrus es and musk. I’ve had fragrances with a lot of musk or a lot of citrus need to sit and meld. I would’ve wrote off so many great finds too and probably have.

Same, and with the oils the smell from the bottle or for first 20 mins has a harsh chemical smell. I Can’t discern the actual scent till 20-30 mins after applying

I don't have that many, though, so I'd really be interested in more reviews. One of my faves is Armaf Katarina Light Blue, which is a dupe for Manifesto L'elixir (not the original Mainifesto but the L'elixir flanker) and it was so inexpensive.
I’ve just purchased musk silk supreme by Ajmal at the duty free on my return from holiday. I believe it’s their 2022 release so fairly new, it’s divine try and test if you haven’t already, I would love to hear your opinion on it. I must say I’m a convert to these fragrances you can’t beat the quality and price points, I have seven in my collection - Aurum, Shine, shadow, Viola, Sacrifice, Musk Silk Supreme & Raaea which was gifted as I purchased a big haul duty free 🥰
perfumes definitely need to mancerate after initial spray.. same experience here. when I revisited my perfumes and really like them soecially after 6 months
Do you by chance have an updated video with your final thoughts on these Ajmal perfumes you revisited? I trust you a lot and want to try a few Ajmal perfumes.

My goodness, I wrote a long comment about an acrylic spinning lipstick holder that I purchased for my samples and traveled sized perfumes, and my comment disappeared. Grrrrr, gotta love the TH-cam Gods. :)
Ajmal Sacrifice For Her ,is a 98% dupe of Alien and long lasting... it's in the beautiful purple bottle!!

D'Light reminds me of Lancome Tresor from the 1990s. Very peachy and strong on my skin. Lasts for many days. I had to give it away to my mom.
I've just received Shine sample, it's very nice. I also got an Aurum sample which to me smells like a weak black opium with a hint of gardenia.

Aurum was a big introduction to amber for me.

It's not you, the middle eastern fragrances need to be sprayed a bit then put away for a while to macerate..ALL the M.E. frags are like that it seems.
