Second time this month i missed the ending due to switching from nbc to USA
Local NBC dropped the race with four laps to go. Had to watch the rest of the race through the in car cameras online.
I learned they were a thing because of that today, kinda cool 😂 I watch WEC like that on TH-cam
I watched the entire race like that because it wasn’t on peacock
I switched over to USA and watched the end of the race
Fox did a better job than nbc, horrible they cut the live broadcast with two laps to go!
This was a great race. Until NBC decided to switch the broadcast at the end. Then NASCAR wants to wait until Larson crosses the line to throw the caution. Awful ending to a promising return to Brickyard👎🏻

Larson was not to be denied this win. The passes he made in the final stage were amazing.

@@hayakawakaido yeah, its kind of funny how larson came from 22nd and passed all of those cars, yet nobody else could pass all race except on restarts. but i guess larson is just that more magical with a car than everyone else.

The empty seats is the sighn of the times...People can barely afford to put gas in their car and buy mcdonalds let alone go to a race....
I cant stand these stages. How many races has Hamlin led only to have to give up his hard work because of stages and then get caught in a wreck. This goes for plenty of drivers as well. Despicable.

Watch these highlights and see how NASCAR manipulated this race to the best of their ability to make sure that the cut line between 15 16th and 17th maybe even 14th was tightened up exactly the way they wanted it to before the break now all y'all's folks can be excited about that cut line before the playoffs start because it was pretty much over 3 weeks ago but they got it within single digits this is such a great entertaining show

I thought the race was ok. I didn’t have any problems with it except for how it ended. They should have thrown the caution and done another overtime attempt. People really need to stop complaining about the race coverage. It was perfectly fine. It’s not their fault there was major breaking news that completely changed the presidential election and it if it weren’t for the overtimes, they wouldn’t have needed to switch back to USA. I guess they are not allowed to cut into local news time over here in the east coast. Lastly, stage racing and the playoffs isn’t going anywhere, so get over it. I, for one, really enjoy this current championship format.

Did Larson have this one in the bag, yeag probably, but calling the race (or a yellow flag) on the white flag/last lap when the yellow could easily have been waved with two to go is complete BS.
As a Hamlin fan : Chase Elliott has earned what he has. Contrary to popular belief he is not Nascar's golden boy, the golden boy is the guy who gets a playoff waiver for favouring the Indy500 over the Coke600 (the longest race in Nascar, and the only one with 4 stages). Now he wins the Indy race in Nascar Cup? Ironic.

It looks like all the grandstands from the Indy 500 are still standing. That means the Speedway seating capacity is at 400 000. Now compare that to Daytona, NASCAR’s most popular track, ‘only’ having 123 500 seats.

I honestly believe Nascar didn't throw the caution because of the cars who would run out of fuel and not just to give it to Larson like all these anti Hendrick conspiracy theorist are claiming.
Nonsense. It's not the officials job to protect teams that chose the risk on fuel. It us their job to make sure the finish is done right and that car was sitting there well before Larson took the white flag. It's fixed
They may have also remembered some of the late race wreckfests Indy has produced. Larson drove through the field late in the race, he deserves the win. Had they thrown the caution the top10 would've had to pit, so it'd just be another lottery race. At least the fastest guy won today.
What triple overtime? After Larson ended up In first 3 times in a row after fighting through the entire pack, forcing dude to run out of fuel he ran him down so hard? Would I liked to have seen them run it out until the checker, yes but man he deserved that win, it wasn't given to him.
With that mentality they shouldn't have thrown a caution to force overtime either as it caused guys to need to pit for fuel..

Month of May Redemption for Kyle Larson
Had to make sure bubba keep the top 5 since 20 cars wrecked out...
He was top 5/10 all race and this is one of his best tracks he could have won if he pitted with Larson and got fuel then he could have pushed harder on the last run that’s why Larson won he was 23rd and raced up to 2nd bubba pitted earlier so he stayed out I wonder if he pitted with Larson how that changes the finish
NASCAR is and apparently always will be its own worst enemy.

I liked the way it was done for road courses last season.. have stage points but no caution for the stage end .. don't know why that didn't continue this season, it should be every race, not just the road courses
