Seeing the demo of this game on repeat in Toys r us in the winter of 94… being curious about who and what the hell knuckles was… the nostalgia… you just had to be there to understand. This game especially if you were a sonic fan then as a pre teen…

This game blew me away with its graphics and music when it came out in 1994, and it still looks absolutely beautiful today. My favourite stage was always the Ice Cap Zone, closely followed by Lava Reef.
if your using a pc you can get the emulator & gamepack that has these, gameplay is different to the megadrive in speed & you dont end up with sonic falling thru the graphics like the console use to do
When they defeat a mid boss, go to 0.25 speed, then look at the signpost as it spins. It should show a blue knuckles on the sign while its spinning, even though knuckles wasnt playable in the original sonic 3, which is what you are playing.
it wasnt playable but that same year sonic & knuckles came out which when you put both together you played all charactors & more worlds than just sonic 3, btw i rented the game played it once & completed it straight away until i bought both a few years later & found the game too be more difficult when playing them as one also if you hit the signposts before they hit the ground you should get bonus points eventually leading to bonus smash boxes of powerups or rings depending on the length of time you can keep the post in the air for

This looks more like what happens when I play sonic the hedgehog three. You have all these TAS runs, But this looks like someone who is truly enjoying the game.

I played this Game on Sonic Mega Collection for GameCube and I loved it. It became my Favorite Sonic Game in the Classic Sonic Trilogy now I'll be playing this on the Real Genesis Cartridge for the 1st time Real Soon I can't wait for that Day to Arrive

I played this one with Sonic Mega Collection Plus on the PS2. I never had the courage to finish it. The special stages made me quite dizzy😵😵😵. It was a nice game anyway.

The island of sonic adventure ya saw its just 5%. We can see the full island in sonic 3 well just 50% And in sonic and knuckles the same number Byt with the lock on tech we can see 100%

@@kpopgirlseditions6760 it's easiest with either player 2 controlling Tails or by yourself, but what you do is jump to get the cylinder going and then keep hitting up and down on your d-pad until you have enough gap to jump off to I believe the right to proceed. Once you get the cylinder rocking, DO NOT JUMP again until that gap has been created
fun game ofcourse, but Sonic 2 is def the best of the original trilogy. kinda like DKC 2 is by far the best in that trilogy. i see an obvious dip in quality in the 3rd installments. change my mind.
I miss my Mega Drive genesis, I loved playing Sonic 1, 2 and Sonic & Knuckles. But it was very old that my family had to get rid of it because I did not play it. I don't think anyone knows this, but You can actually become solar Sonic, electric sonic in the Sega game Sonic 3 you needed to activate debug mode and have hyper sonic mode available. First go into hyper sonic mode then use debug mode to kill hyper sonic by dragging him off screen to a auto kill area, after killing him immediately debug him back to a safe area before game ends. Now he should still be in hyper sonic mode but now him dieing should have made him able to be hurt. Now that he is able to hurt again, use debug mode to create a power item like flame or electric and use it. This will fuse the flame or electric power up with his damageable hyper mode. In this new form he has the ability of double jump but with flame or electric, still hyperfast and a cool new animation when preforming a double jump... Your welcome
Auch hier muss ich mal ein Stück von meinen Erinnerungen da lassen denn Sonic 3 ist zur damaligen Zeit ein Hit gewesen und noch heute und das fürs Mega Drive , Wahnsinn! Hier wurde alles aus dem Teil damals rausgeholt und auch die Musik war anders sie war was besonderes und jetzt kommen wir wieder zu dem Punkt, ja es war damals schon bekannt das Michael Jackson an Sonic 3 mitwirken sollte inwiefern wusste damals niemand, dann Anfang oder ende 93 in einer videospielezeitung musste ich lesen dass Jackson aus dem Spiel verbannt wird wegen den Vorwürfen damals gegen ihn darum durfte er nicht mehr bei dem Spiel mitwirken nichtsdestotrotz hat er aber seine Musik hinterlassen 😀 die er für dieses Spiel komponiert hat, dass wusste man ja damals nicht so genau, als ich es irgendwann Anfang 2000 das erste Mal durchgespielt hatte und die Credits anhörte da wurde mir klar Mensch dieses Lied kennst du doch irgendwoher und ich saß minutenlang da und habe dieses Lied nicht zuordnen können ja und es war stranger in Moskau also dieses Spiel ist auf jeden Fall was sehr Besonderes erstmal weil dort Jackson mitgewirkt hat und weil es wirklich ein super Spiel war grafisch spielerisch und musikalisch. Sega gibt es bis heute nicht zu wegen der rechtlichen Lage einfach nur unfair Jackson gegenüber erst hatten sie ihn verbannt und heute sagen sie er hätte dort nicht mitgemacht aber wenn man den jahrelang gescheiterten Lauf von Sega beobachtet kann man ja sehen wie Sega zugrunde gegangen ist und noch heute versucht z.B mit der neuen Kollektor Edition wo die Hälfte nicht original ist mit allen Mitteln Geld zu machen das ist schon armselig Sega hätte das Handtuch werfen sollen nach dem Dreamcast sie haben einfach alles vermasselt ein lausiges Unternehmen was von ihrer Vergangenheit lebt. Jackson war damals ein riesen Sega und Sonic Fan weil man auch die Tiere befreien konnte und so weiter ich fand es von Sega nicht inordnung ihn einfach links liegen zu lassen obwohl es keine handfesten Beweise gab im Endeffekt drehte sich doch alles nur ums Geld die man Jackson leicht aus der Tasche ziehen konnte weil er so viel verdient hat wie kein anderer. Mir tut der Jackson heute noch leid obwohl er schon lange unter der Erde liegt ich denke das hat er nicht verdient für das alles was er hinterlassen hat sie sagen immer alle man soll nicht Vorurteilen aber sie haben ihn so fertig gemacht und hatten überhaupt gar keine richtigen Belege gegen ihn das ist eine Schande eine Schande die die Welt noch nicht gesehen hat für das was er damals alles gemacht und hinterlassen hat? Ich kann nur von mir sprechen wäre ich damals prominent gewesen hätte ich die Hand über ihn gelegt und ihn geholfen oder beigestanden . LEAVE ME ALONE war damals eine eindeutige Aussage und der Song war von 1988 schon da waren die Medien auf ihn nicht gut zu sprechen und das wusste er und sein Schicksal besiegelte er fünf Jahre später mit dem ersten Lügen gegen ihn das war sein Untergang den diese schmierigen Medien die alles um jeden Preis berichten damit es sich besser anhört und sich verkaufen lässt das andere drunter leiden ist ihnen scheißegal! Jeder weiß wer einmal zu Unrecht beschuldigt wurde weiß wie er sich gefühlt hat und man weiß auch wie man da dran zugrunde geht. Vor kurzem hat mich eine Kundin beschuldigt ich hätte ihren Schlüssel vom Fenster weggenommen ich sage ich habe ihren Schlüssel nicht da sagt sie zu mir sie verlassen das Haus vorher nicht sie müssen sich bis auf die Unterhose hier ausziehen ich möchte meinen Schlüssel wieder haben. Dann fiel mir ein dass sie selber den Schlüssel gesucht hat sie hat sich nicht mal entschuldigt für ihre Aussage ich war schockiert das ist nur ein kleines Beispiel. Joguei muito esse, a carnival night foi bem difícil de passar e só depois de muito tempo sem jogar que consegui após várias tentativas, esse game merece ser lembrado como o que mais desafia em passar de obstáculos mais complicados de todos além das batalhas com subchefes e chefes.
Carnival night só foi difícil pois o jogo n ensinava a passar do barril, assim obrigando o jogador a descobrir sozinho q era só apertar pra cima e pra baixo
I love how the story makes NO sense in this game. Knuckles is the guardian of the Emeralds that were always on the island all of a sudden but at the beginning Sonic had them and Knuckles stole them. Oh well
It will never be released again! Unless sega gets the music rights back from Michael Jackson people. They're some weird story's on how he did most of the music and was a sonic fan at the time. Apparently he visited Sega studios at some point.

But it was very old that my family had to get rid of it because I did not play it.

I don't think anyone knows this, but You can actually become solar Sonic, electric sonic in the Sega game Sonic 3 you needed to activate debug mode and have hyper sonic mode available. First go into hyper sonic mode then use debug mode to kill hyper sonic by dragging him off screen to a auto kill area, after killing him immediately debug him back to a safe area before game ends. Now he should still be in hyper sonic mode but now him dieing should have made him able to be hurt. Now that he is able to hurt again, use debug mode to create a power item like flame or electric and use it. This will fuse the flame or electric power up with his damageable hyper mode. In this new form he has the ability of double jump but with flame or electric, still hyperfast and a cool new animation when preforming a double jump... Your welcome

Auch hier muss ich mal ein Stück von meinen Erinnerungen da lassen denn Sonic 3 ist zur damaligen Zeit ein Hit gewesen und noch heute und das fürs Mega Drive , Wahnsinn! Hier wurde alles aus dem Teil damals rausgeholt und auch die Musik war anders sie war was besonderes und jetzt kommen wir wieder zu dem Punkt, ja es war damals schon bekannt das Michael Jackson an Sonic 3 mitwirken sollte inwiefern wusste damals niemand, dann Anfang oder ende 93 in einer videospielezeitung musste ich lesen dass Jackson aus dem Spiel verbannt wird wegen den Vorwürfen damals gegen ihn darum durfte er nicht mehr bei dem Spiel mitwirken nichtsdestotrotz hat er aber seine Musik hinterlassen 😀 die er für dieses Spiel komponiert hat, dass wusste man ja damals nicht so genau, als ich es irgendwann Anfang 2000 das erste Mal durchgespielt hatte und die Credits anhörte da wurde mir klar Mensch dieses Lied kennst du doch irgendwoher und ich saß minutenlang da und habe dieses Lied nicht zuordnen können ja und es war stranger in Moskau also dieses Spiel ist auf jeden Fall was sehr Besonderes erstmal weil dort Jackson mitgewirkt hat und weil es wirklich ein super Spiel war grafisch spielerisch und musikalisch. Sega gibt es bis heute nicht zu wegen der rechtlichen Lage einfach nur unfair Jackson gegenüber erst hatten sie ihn verbannt und heute sagen sie er hätte dort nicht mitgemacht aber wenn man den jahrelang gescheiterten Lauf von Sega beobachtet kann man ja sehen wie Sega zugrunde gegangen ist und noch heute versucht z.B mit der neuen Kollektor Edition wo die Hälfte nicht original ist mit allen Mitteln Geld zu machen das ist schon armselig Sega hätte das Handtuch werfen sollen nach dem Dreamcast sie haben einfach alles vermasselt ein lausiges Unternehmen was von ihrer Vergangenheit lebt. Jackson war damals ein riesen Sega und Sonic Fan weil man auch die Tiere befreien konnte und so weiter ich fand es von Sega nicht inordnung ihn einfach links liegen zu lassen obwohl es keine handfesten Beweise gab im Endeffekt drehte sich doch alles nur ums Geld die man Jackson leicht aus der Tasche ziehen konnte weil er so viel verdient hat wie kein anderer. Mir tut der Jackson heute noch leid obwohl er schon lange unter der Erde liegt ich denke das hat er nicht verdient für das alles was er hinterlassen hat sie sagen immer alle man soll nicht Vorurteilen aber sie haben ihn so fertig gemacht und hatten überhaupt gar keine richtigen Belege gegen ihn das ist eine Schande eine Schande die die Welt noch nicht gesehen hat für das was er damals alles gemacht und hinterlassen hat? Ich kann nur von mir sprechen wäre ich damals prominent gewesen hätte ich die Hand über ihn gelegt und ihn geholfen oder beigestanden . Immer wieder haben sie lügen und Geschichten erfunden und jeder wusste es es war eine verdammte Lüge Jeder der heute Anfang oder ü 40 ist weiß was ich meine wer das alles miterlebt hat der kann nur mit dem Kopf schütteln und die Stars keiner hat ihn geholfen niemand alle haben sie ihn hängen lassen. Aber so ist der Mensch ein habgieriges Schwein er gönnt den anderen nichts du kannst noch so ein Übermensch sein irgendwann machst du einen Fehler und dann stürzen sie sich auf dich Medien und Co. LEAVE ME ALONE war damals eine eindeutige Aussage und der Song war von 1988 schon da waren die Medien auf ihn nicht gut zu sprechen und das wusste er und sein Schicksal besiegelte er fünf Jahre später mit dem ersten Lügen gegen ihn das war sein Untergang den diese schmierigen Medien die alles um jeden Preis berichten damit es sich besser anhört und sich verkaufen lässt das andere drunter leiden ist ihnen scheißegal! Jeder weiß wer einmal zu Unrecht beschuldigt wurde weiß wie er sich gefühlt hat und man weiß auch wie man da dran zugrunde geht. Vor kurzem hat mich eine Kundin beschuldigt ich hätte ihren Schlüssel vom Fenster weggenommen ich sage ich habe ihren Schlüssel nicht da sagt sie zu mir sie verlassen das Haus vorher nicht sie müssen sich bis auf die Unterhose hier ausziehen ich möchte meinen Schlüssel wieder haben. Dann fiel mir ein dass sie selber den Schlüssel gesucht hat sie hat sich nicht mal entschuldigt für ihre Aussage ich war schockiert das ist nur ein kleines Beispiel. Wenn du zu Unrecht beschuldigt wirst gehst du da dran zu Grunde und gerade bei so einem Thema mit Kindern du gehst kaputt daran und das war deren Ziel. Joguei muito esse, a carnival night foi bem difícil de passar e só depois de muito tempo sem jogar que consegui após várias tentativas, esse game merece ser lembrado como o que mais desafia em passar de obstáculos mais complicados de todos além das batalhas com subchefes e chefes.

I love how the story makes NO sense in this game. Knuckles is the guardian of the Emeralds that were always on the island all of a sudden but at the beginning Sonic had them and Knuckles stole them. Oh well
