I heard this song prior to 9-11 and when I heard it again, after that tragic day, my son and I knew that song was written just for that day, unbeknownst to Live. Horrific day and days after, I will never forget. Rest in peace to all those who perished, all those who came to the rescue and those who have since passed away. Heaven is where you are now, in another dimension! God bless you.

The song was written AND recorded well before 9-11. The first use of it for 9-11 was not initially authorized by the band, in fact they had no knowledge of it till they saw the video on one of the video channels immediately following 9-11. This is an excellent version of it ... it's one of the very few I've seen Railo in. thanks.

I first heard this song on the last episode of the second season of the fantastic series "The Shield". This song made that particular epsiode one of my absolute favorites of the entire series. So powerful. So deep.
It's funny how this beautiful song fits so well with the 9-11 images in the background, as it was written well before that horrible day. If I remember correctly he performed it on SNL shortly after the attack, and it was amazingly emotional. Such a great voice.
On the 6th anniversary of 9/11, I just heard this song on the radio. Please say a prayer today for all the people who died on that day and all their loved ones. And to all the people who nicely wished us well on that day [sarcasm/] may the same happen to you, and may you cry to the US for help and hear...the Apaches coming to save your sorry rears.

They had to scramble to get the new video re-shot, using 9-11 footage. Plus they performed it live on one of the late night shows. Their album that this song is on (V) was released on 9-18-11.

I think such a beautiful music shouldn't be related with 9/11, an event used wisely by "mighty US warlord, premier" BUSH (like Borat'd say) to gain popularity, at a time his own was very low. Live is way much better and wholehearted than he is, and some people like Charlie Sheen know the truth about what happened that sad day. Italian chief of intelligence, Giuseppe Cossega, knows the truth about that also. But overcome, the song itself, it's simply wonderful. Marvelous. Congrats LIVE!
