Recently, the situation in Thailand is not good at all. There are many turmoil problems. I, as a Thai person, feel sorry and can only hope that the situation will improve soon. Thanks to the channel owner for showing the good side of Thailand. I wish you happiness in Thailand. Thai people are always considerate.

I have a love-hate relationship with Ramkhamhaeng road. So many memories here but really hate the traffic and how this area looks. lol So I'm really glad to see this area development.
My school is in a soi at 14:49. I studied there for 6 years. Miss that soi!

This is a very Interesting Update Jeroen. Also because you put a Map from the Line inside for orientation. In Holland such a project takes 10 years or more! 🙏

Yes, I am amazed at the proliferation of all these mass transit lines in Bangkok all at the same time. In the U.S. such a project would not even get funding, and would never happen. More people would just drive their own cars, and they build more highways. Sad.

    • @ApatheticNonbuynary

@@mikew9999 there are a lot of highways being built throughout Thailand as well. It's just that we're investing in both infrastructures.

Went here after Bangkok Pat’s stream! What a comprehensive update, really admire your dedication. Mental notes taken and so when I ride the Orange line, it will all seem familiar. #GTMTime

11:28 The ramp for the cars to decent to the ground from that overpass just temporarily removed for the construction of the underground structure of the station and tunnel. It will be rebuilt once the underground construction is completed. Actually, it is currently being rebuilt as I write you this comment (25 Aug 21).

If you keep riding past the end of this video for another 5km, you'll get to the above ground section. That part is almost complete.

Thanks for another interesting video. If you continue to the shopping mall Paseo Town, the train will become a sky train for the last 7 stations. In Min Buri the orange line will meet the pink line. Both of them will have they end station and depot here. There's a huge construction site where they're building all this far out from city in the outskirts of Bangkok. The depot will be situated near Rom Klao Rd.
Living out here I'll be happy when able to take the train into the city!

Hundreds of kilometers of concrete overpasses filled with roaring vehicles and few signs of human habitation or natural areas ... very exciting to see all this activity that will someday enhance our ability to get around all of Bangkok. But one can only hope that by 2050 or hopefully earlier all these square miles will largely be human neighborhoods with people walking through shaded areas at a human pace, and that will be the fruition of all this concrete and steel fabrication going on for the coming years *

Oh cool! Going to play table tennis near Ramkhamkhaeng University meant either taking the boat taxi or the Number Twelve bus. I will look forward to this. I guess now I know what all the construction was about.. I hope the airplane graveyard survives the development.

The Blue Line and Orange Line will use the same depot area, with a different building. Orange Line will get its own depot building in the same area as Blue line
