i can only imagine the horror of having to make sure 30-40 elementary students are wearing their seatbelts and having to stop every time one them takes it off, or hitting another student with the buckle of the belt
30-50 children, one adult whose primary task is driving. Not every kid follows directions exactly perfectly every time, and based on my experience as a kid on a bus, a lot of them don't really give 2 shits about anything they were told re. the "correct" way to ride the bus. Based on the variety of setups in this test (sitting correctly and not, adult and child dummies, seatbelt and no seatbelt, high and low backed seats, etc.) I think the goal is a realistic comparison of the different things that COULD happen, not seeing what SHOULD happen if every single person on the bus rides it exactly correctly every single minute of every single ride
This is why I try my best to get the 1 Seat towards the front with the seatbelt
What school bus has seatbelts? It sounds like an awesome idea😊
That dummy sitting on its knees, the forces were so bad the internal cavity was pulled out of its body
I see a whole lot of potential neck and head injuries with this "safety" system. especially with the larger kids.
To be serious, they should've put a driver dummy in there, too.
mabey we should all be wearing a harnest on the school bus
Agreed

that's why I think that school buses should have seatbelts in them like Florida does
We do need seat belts in case of death, danger, and harm. If we don't, we will lose lives and be in danger and harm.
No
no
Everybody chill until the child male gives birth
Why are kids sitting sideways and backwards on their knees? Wrong way to ride a school bus!
Jalen Dyer it was to test in case a kid was in. that position when a crash happened
Believe me, that happens a lot when I was a kid.
