So refreshing to see an honest recognition of the fact that in gay life, commonly it is often rare to find everything you want in the one person. I do not refer to love or affection in this respect, as I do feel and know that this is possible. However, sexual satisfaction in a long term relationship does in many circumstances develop into an agreement on open and honest sexual experimentation, which in turn can lead to a more satisfying and fulfilling loving relationship with your long term partner as the sexual frustrations do not hinder this. Beautiful presentation. I think a 4th factor is how important is anal sex to a couple. There is a spectrum here too. On one end it's a must. On the other, they don't engage in it. Then there's those to whom it's an important factor and others that it's icing on the cake. There are many aspects to gay sex. Anal isn't everything (for many).

Nothing worse than going to a gay bar, and discovering that it's filled with straight people because they percieve gay bars to be "more peaceful" or something.
