Ultimately this report just shows how much the points changes mattered with Brian not being able to make his secondaries work.
Quick comment about dices: unless you are using casino dices, I can confirm that they are not balanced. I did some research on the topic. Typical dices, like the ones from Baron of dices and other retailer sell have a 1-2% bias and when you use dices with engravings it can be 2-3%. Reasons: material not spread evenly, the rounded corners are not all equality shaped, engraving cause imbalance, etc... My solution is that we use a single set of dices that we share between the two players and problem is solved.
I rewatched the super happy segment at the start multiple times, even with subs on and still dont get it what happened.. nevertheless im happy for you guys!
What blows my mind, as an Ork player, they took care of the nerfed detatchments and models, that people play on tournaments. But the totally ignored the detatchments that nobody really plays competetivly, because they are trash. I love Speed Freaks and took them to tournaments twice, because I love the models and the theme of the army - but they are just too bad

Honestly I don’t thing it was about going second but about Brian really missing the 170 points of action monkeys and he just lost on secondaries…

Space Marine: you could pay 75 for a drop pod ORRRR 75 for a unit that gives you a free drop pod and now increases CP costs :)
A drop pod let's you deep strike turn 1, and can have multiple units in it.
